Something is wrong with Sasuke. When we did our usual meet-up, he kept a distance from me. At least one meter, I estimated.

"Sasuke-kun, what's wrong with you?" I questioned. He blinked and asked, "what's wrong with me? What? Oh I love—" He stopped there.

  "Love?" I urged.

  "I love Sakura."

  I swallowed. "W-What?"

"What? Ah, yeah, the Sakura tree. Cherry Blossom. They're beautiful. Like you."

"What the actual hell, Sasuke? You've been very weird since the werewolf attack incident," I stated. He nervously smiled, ruffling his hair. He didn't cover his head like before as I found out about his identity, and I'm glad I did. I felt closer to him, but now it just looked like he didn't want to be near me.

"Yeah, you're right," he admitted. "I want to tell you something, but it'll have to wait."

"Why? Why can't you just tell me now? I thought you trusted me," I replied angrily, hurt by the fact that he was hiding something from me.

"It's not trust that's the issue—"

  "Then?"

  "It's a girl."

I suddenly felt needles stabbing into my heart. Why?

"Oh. Sorry," I apologized. Wait, why did I apologize? What for? Why are you feeling so weird now, Sakura? Don't cry, I said don't cry!

Tears welled up my eyes. I quickly turned my head away to avert his gaze. I stood up and said, "it's early, but I'll go home now."

  "Sakura, wait—"

"See you next time, wish you luck with the girl," I chipped in and walked off.

Was it really because of my lack with female contact that I was too dense to notice why Sakura acted that way?

I wondered as I watched her disappear into the woods. I wasn't sure, but her voice was a little shaky before she left. No, it was trembling, she was trying to make herself sound like she was normal.

Then I recalled of my awkward confession. Crap, it must be because I didn't make myself clear and because I was acting so strange, I scared her away! Nice going, Sasuke. Nice going.

I sighed, disappointed in how stupid I could look and dragged myself back to the territory.

||Naruto||

In the name of Alpha, save my furry ass. Sasuke had been so disgusting these days it made me want to actually be shot by a Hunter. Now he's just resting on a rock looking like a decomposing carcass. That's our Alpha, right there.

I couldn't stand the view so I decided to go out for once. Making sure I properly transformed into a human, I headed out. I went to visit the village we were supposed to destroy. I was curious about it anyways.

The moment I entered, I heard a woman screaming. When I turned towards the direction of the noise, the woman bumped into me. I lost balance and we both fell hard on the ground. For Alpha's sake it hurts like crap! I'm going to kill this woman!

The moment I opened my eyes, her chest was right in front of my face. Then I stared.

No, it was not because they were big, although, that was part of the reason why I looked.

But it was the birthmark of werewolves right between her breasts.

"Ahh! I'm so sorry!" she hurriedly got up and glanced behind her. I noticed a man chasing her and assumed that he had business with her.

When she was about to run, she winced and went on her knees.

"My ankles hurt..." she whimpered. I know this was not the time to say this but... She's so damn cute.

"Stay there," I told her. She looked at me, confused. I grinned and seeing the man reaching out for her, I grabbed his arm and tightened the tension. He writhed in agony and cussed at me.

"What do you want from this young lady?" I glared at him, purposely exposing my red eyes for a second. I was sure after seeing them he would be speechless, and indeed he was.

  "N-Nothing at all!" he stuttered.

"Don't bother her anymore, or else," I warned by twisting his arm a little, "I will break you." I let go of him and it took him a moment before he ran off.

"T-Thank you," the woman, still on the ground, said. I helped her up by swinging her arm over my shoulder and supporting her body. I was just a little conscious about her size pushing against my back.

  Just a little.

"How can I repay you, kind sir?" she asked. I raised an eyebrow and looked at her chest. She followed my gaze and when she noticed, she pushed me away and considering how badly injured her ankles were, she was falling.

I caught her in time and again, supported her.

"You're just like every other men." She furiously gritted her teeth. Maybe she has went through a traumatizing incident...

"Your birthmark," I explained. She widened her eyes and pulled up the collar of her shirt.

"W-What about it?" she nervously looked away. I gkanced around, making sure no one is looking and lifted my shirt up, revealing the werewolf birthmark on my stomach. She gasped.

"You're one too," she said. I nodded.

"What are you doing here?" she inquired.

"I could ask the same to you."

We locked eyes for a moment, then her lips parted, "let's go to my place. We'll talk there."

"My name is Hinata Hyuga," she said. I flinched and fell off the chair.

"Hyuga?" I exclaimed. "You're related to Neji?"

"That must be my brother... But he has never mentioned he has a sister, hasn't he?"

  "No..."

"That's because we were separated. No, more like we never actually met before."

  "Why?"

"My mother's a human. I'm actually half werewolf, half human. The story goes like this — our parents met when my mother accidentally went into Father's territory. He wanted to eat her, but instead he thought he could mess with her before doing so." I could see her eyebrows furrowing as she spoke. This must be difficult for her to talk about.

"And so it happened, Mother was pregnant in the end and she had me. Father wanted me to stay with him and he forced her to live with him. In that cold, dark place filled with predators. What Mother never knew was that he actually had another child from another woman who was actually a werewolf. I knew because I overheard him asking one of the werewolves about his son. In short, he died in the end because he was shot and Mother took the chance to run away with me."

"Wow," was all I could say. "And uh, by the way, my name is Naruto."

She smiled. "Pleased to meet you, Naruto-kun."

Haha sorry I'm telling y'all this whole chapter was not planned, entirely improvised and done in an hour. I'm so SO SORRY about the "on hold" thing. My brain was lagging and I can't think of anything. Now I'm back and I hope I'll be able to finish the book. Sorry this is bad and super short. :')
