Colleen's POV

" Ok class, today I will be pairing you up with a partner to come up with a short monologue." Mr. Frisky tells the class. ' I hope I get with Heather' I think to myself. " Ok Kory and Heather." he starts. I sigh knowing my chances with Heather are over. He calls out a few more groups. " And..Colleen and Joshua." he says. ' No no no this can't happen.' " Ok class you and your partner will be assigned a portion of a monologue and will preform it on Monday, so you should probably get together this weekend to work on it." I look over at Josh and apparently he was already looking at me. He looks away quickly and I see him blush a little. I walk to Mr. Frisky's desk and wait patiently while he slurps his coffee. " Ah yes Mrs. Ballinger, you and Mr. Evans will be preforming this section of Romeo and Juliet." I sigh and grab my things and walk over to Josh's desk. " Um h-hi you're Josh right?" I ask stuttering. " Yeah Colleen right?" he asks but I'm too busy staring into his blue eyes. " Colleen?" he asks. "Oh yeah sorry." I say blushing hard. He nods and reaches into his backpack and pulls out a pair of glasses. He slides them on and man he looks hot. "So should we start?" he asks. I nod and we start working. We made small talk and I even ended  up laughing a little bit. He's really sweet and that just makes me want him even more. The bell rings signaling the end of class. I start to pack up my things, and Josh taps my shoulder. I look up into his eyes again, and he hands me a piece of paper. " That's my number so that, um, we can work together this weekend." he tells me. " Ok." I say and smile. He slings his backpack over his shoulder and strides out of the classroom. I pick up my things and start to head out. " So how was it?" Heather asks me linking our arms. " It was fine." I say laughing. " So what you're saying is you don't have a huge crush on him at all." she asks smirking. " No! Oh my God stop it Heather." I say smacking her arm. " Ok then." she says still smirking. " You're so annoying." I say laughing. She laughs too and we part ways heading to our separate classes. I might have told Heather I don't like Josh, but in reality mama wants a big bite of Josh Evans.
