You finally managed to get Toothless up on deck where Valka ran up to you. She helped you carry Toothless who was slowly slipping out of consciousness. That's when you noticed Drago on the ground dead. You felt a huge relief come over you knowing that man was gone, and couldn't harm the dragons anymore.
Hiccup was leaning against Astrid as if he had just woken up. Everyone nodded at you as they all got on their dragons. No one came out of the fight unscathed but they were alive and that's all that mattered. You rode with hiccup as Valka took Toothless. You kept glancing at Toothless worried.
"Don't worry. He'll be fine he's strong." Hiccup assured you.
You looked up at him. "I know he's strong. It's just..." Hiccup looked back at you. "You care for him. I know. We all do. Especially me."He glanced over at the unconscious Toothless. "But he'll make it. Believe me." He looked forward again.
He seemed sure of himself so you decided not to question Toothless's health any further. Instead you looked at the other riders. They were smiling at each other talking about the fight. Happy about winning and getting you back.
You couldn't help but smile too. These people. Your friends were their for you. Even if others weren't. You could rely on them. They would catch you like you would catch them. They were your family. And you couldn't ask for a better one.
The sun started to set as you and your new family rode back to Berk.
