You woke up in the field again. You immediately started looking for Toothless calling out his name. You rant to the lake and that's where you saw it. It was a nightfury. It was Toothless. You grinned and ran over to him and hugged the giant beast. "You're okay!" You said smiling. He didn't look happy. He shifted back into his human form.
"I'm so sorry (Y/N)." He said softly cupping your cheeks. You looked at him confused "What do you mean sorry? Toothless what's wrong?" He started crying. "I can't. I cant wake up. Wake me up (Y/N)! Please! I don't want to be alone!" Everything started fading. "Toothless what do you mean??" You asked as you were pulled away from him.
You gasped sitting up in your bed. You quickly got dressed after looking at all your wounds. You sighed before quickly getting dressed. You then walked over to hiccups room about to knock when he opened the door.
"(Y/N)."His eyes widened "I was just going to get you..."He said. His mother and friends were all in there staring at the door. The atmosphere felt somber. You looked at everyone confused. "Okay.?" Hiccup let you into his room and Toothless was in his bed asleep.
"What's with all the sad faces?"You asked. Hiccup looked at his best friend and tears started falling "He won't wake up...We've tried everything but he won't wake up."He said. Everyone seemed to stare at their feet.
You felt your heart stop. "W-What?...He's just sleeping right!" You quickly walk over to him and start shaking him. "Toothless? Hey come on wake up." You shook him more "Toothless!" You just started shaking him harder. "Wake up!! Wake up!!" Tears we're falling as you were yelling.
The twins then pulled you away as you cried trying to fight against them. Hiccups mother walked with you out. "(y/N) stop. You screaming won't wake him. "She said calmly. You stopped fighting the twins and stared at your feet.
Hiccup was crying besides his best friend. You then ran out of the house ignoring the calls of your name.
He was gone. You couldn't talk to him. This was all your fault. Hiccup would still have his best friend if you hadn't gotten taken. Or if you hadn't come to berk. You managed to ruin everyone's lives. You stopped at the place where supposedly hiccup first found Toothless. You sat by the water and cried and cried.
Toothless was in a coma.
