C H A P T E R 1 - Meeting Us

Mya POV
Hey! I'm 16 and I'm a junior. My brother Trey is a senior. Along with his whole group except for this one guy named Chris. I haven't met them except for Chris but we barely talk anyways. Im always in my room. Our parents left us when I was 12. Trey has provided for me and we now live in a house with 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. I have a walk in closet and I'm really grateful. Anyways enough about me. I have to get ready for school. I hopped in the shower for about 20 minutes. I got out and wrapper my hair in a towel and I walked out and into my closet and picked out my thin "love" sweatshirt and my light blue jeans and my black converse. I went to my mirror and put on my black choker and got my IPhone and my bluetooth headphones and put it around my neck and went downstairs where Trey was watchin tv and hadn't noticed me so I went behind him and jumped on him. He pushed me to the floor and started tickling me.
M - I'MM SOR-SORRYY
He stopped and got off of me.
T - You ready?
M - Yup
T - Okay well we are waiting for..
Before he said that Chris came out of the bathroom.
M - Why is he here?
T - He came over this morning and now he aint leaving cause I'm giving him a ride.
M - Ugh okay.

T - Aight you heard the woman.

We went outside and got in Trey's Range Rover and drove off to school. I sat in the back listening to Drake and Rihanna on repeat.

T - I gotta new job after school again so everyday after school Chris is gonna take you home and watch you until I get home okay?

We got to school and I saw Alexis and Marcus so I jumped out of the car and ran towards them and jumped into Marcus' back.

He turned around and saw me and hugged me.
M - Gurl don't be coming up to me like that like you don't know. I could've bitch slapped you or some shit.

M - Anyway how was the trip here boo?
M - Ugh annoying Chris drove with us and now I gotta drive with him everyday after school AND he gotta stay with me at the house till Trey get home.

The bell rang meaning we gotta go.
A - Aight hoes I gotta go. Josh is waiting for me.
I put up the deuces. Marcus just did the same

He nodded and we went to first period. I sat in my regular seat and I felt someone staring at me so I looked around and I saw Chris looking at me and he winked at me. I rolled my eyes.
T - Mya! You want to answer this question?
M - What question?
T - Look on the board and pay attention Ms. Neverson
M - Yes ma'am
I answered the question and looked back at Chris staring at me and stuck his tongue out. I rolled my eyes again.
T - Ms. Neverson and Mr. Brown you both can leave.
M - We ain't even talking man.
T - You disturbing me and not paying attention. Leave the room.
C - Fine.
We left and I started walking to my locker. Dont even like that class. I know Chris was walking behind me.
M - What Christopher?
C - Damn gurl I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the football field and chill there.
M - Sure why not let me just grab some snacks.
C - Kay.
I went to my locker and got some snacks and I went back and he grabbed some stuff and we left. It was fall and it was cold so I was cold. But I didnt say anything. Next thing I know Chris puts his jacket around me and wraps his arm around me.
M - Thanx.
C - No problem.
I looked at him.
C - Ya know this is a first. We're actually hanging out and not arguing.
I laughed.
M - Yea. Why do we even argue?
Chris POV

I said while still looking at her.
