I kept running.
Running from something dark.
Fear surging through my veins
All i knew was
If i ran far away , i may escape this.
Mist concealed my sight
but ahead of me i saw light .
A ray of hope to this endless fright!
'I must run' i told myself.
And like that, i'd win this plight.
This time, the light was excruciating. It was blinding me. And bang! My eyes were open. I wake up dazed from the morning sunlight in all its glory. Phew! It was that weird dream again. The clueless most mysterious one i've ever had. At least as far as i can remember. I scratch my head in confusion trying to figure out why i keep having this same old dream on and on. And to add to my mystery, it just keeps getting weirder every time. Only if i knew what i was running from!
I take in a deep breath and brush the irking thought away. Today is the beginning of a new life, a new semester, a change i had always wanted to be. And i will not let my dreams alter that. How could i? All those endless nights of studying and extra credentials had to pay off. After all, i have finally achieved it. An application of affirmation from the university of Georgia was proof i was in. I boast in excitement and jump out of bed ready to brace this new life
