The next day, i was all ready to face it. With excitement glazing in my eyes i jump out of bed. Everyone was so friendly! The feeling was welcoming. And to top it all, it was my group that made me chirp in excitement. Its been just a day and i made a group! I had it in me, to jell in so well. And it was the best part of our college. We had gotten along really well from the past few weeks. Checking out the campus, listening to their trolls and the overwhelming feeling of being the centre of attention. They have all grown a liking in me. This i could not resist. Because lets face it. Fact is, Everyone in their life wants that i-wanna-rule-the-world attitude. And i was given access to it without even asking. My group was the best. Not just to me though. Yu see, we have caught every one's eye in the past weeks. The very appearance of our group made us all appealing to the public eye. Troy, with his flirtatious demeanor perfectly suited his intensely good looks. The looks which had eyes following him until he's out of sight. The kickass attack of DJ made everyone be his best bud. His special talent on rap left the girls dangling. Carreen was a thing! Being rich to hit the top list followed by her modelling career. She had it in her, blonde hair, straight 5'7 height and the perfect curves you could have to enhance her figure. Whereas for Sareena, she is a perfect example of someone 'naturally beautiful'. Her rocking skinny jeans with nil makeup on; She makes an appearance and sets everyone ablaze. Yes, all she had to do was smile to add the charisma (which was very rare to see) that dimple just deepens as her smile spreads across. Sareena did not have much wealth to show off with , but she possesses something money can't buy. What i see in her is something not everyone owns:True happiness. Sareena was care-free. She walks on the earth like she has nothing to worry about. That is why i have grown a liking in her lately. Who doesn't take stress these days? The whole world is drugged in it. But when she is around, i loosen up a bit. Her presence is always so soothing. And i admire her day by day.
You may notice i am neglecting Amanda here. You're wrong! Im saving the best parts at the end. After all, she's my first ever friend.
We were walking across the lush green yard of our university. Noticing the smiles that spread as we pass by students,
Stace randomly begins "You know, i knew it."
With her perfect curls of brunette and red highlights sway as she walks with a latte in her hand.
"Knew what?" I ask amused.
"That we could gain so much fame in less than a month!" She exclaims her eyes beaming with delight.
She continues, "when i saw you, i knew a girl like you is rare. I mean, look at you, perfect figure with the perfect attitude . You dont neglect anyone. You blend in, no matter how people are. You always have that sweet smile. Usually, girls with hardcore looks always chuck attitude, they think they are the best. You could've chosen that too. But yu dont. Which is what makes you so liked by everyone!"
I chuckle as i hear her flatter me.
"You know its not just me alone." I continue. "It all wouldn't have happened if you didn't wave that hand at me the first day. When you did that, something ignited in me. A random stranger just waved at me. Someone who doesn't know a thing about me just asked if she could sit down next to me. If it wasn't for you, i probably wouldn't have had the power to socialize. You were the trigger to my persona. Or who knows, the sparks within me would've never turned to flame. Yes stace! You are the very reason we found fame.
"Oooh. Looks like the flame is too much. Cuz you look hot miss" smirks troy, appearing out of nowhere.
"Oh will you shut up already!" I say trying to conceal my blush which only got deeper. We all laugh and that is yet another day of my happy life.
