Chapter 3

“How did you do that? How can you talk to someone using your mind?” Chad asks Joshua he still amazed and confused of everything that was going on. “It’s called telepathy.” “Of course I know what it’s called I mean how did you do that? Is that also your power?” He cuts off Joshua.

“Let’s just say it’s an add-on to my skills.” Joshua said while taking his sketch book on his bag.

“Add-on what do you mean by that?”

“Look it’s not my powers it’s my ability; I trained this, not that I inherit this from my parents.”

“Okaaay.” He stretched out trying to understand.

They sat on a chair inside the Diner; Joshua showed his sketch to Chad. “What’s this?” He said while looking at the drawing. Joshua pointed the person on the picture and explains it to Chad. “So that is why you are here to save me from them?” He asks.

Chad still couldn’t believe of what just happened and he thinks that it’s Joshua’s fault because if he didn’t came into his life it wouldn’t be end up his life like this but he can’t tell it to Joshua because he just saved him to the guys.

“Yes and no?” He said raising his eye brow.

“What do you mean?” Chad asks him confused. “So what did you do a while ago? Isn’t that help?”

“Let’s just say that yes I want to help you use your powers just like that and no because an officer helped you.” He explains and he looks at the officer on the table near the window talking to Mr. Tong.

“So about what you said the first time we met that you know everything about me, is it true?”

“Yes.” He replied “And because of what I said that I’ll tell you everything I know. I will tell you.”

Chad makes a grin on his face. Now he will knew half about his self and his parents. Joshua started to talk all the things he knew about Chad and his parents. After that Chad asks him about the Division that his mother is talking about and what does the Division want from him.

 “Division is a secret organization that based somewhere in America and secretly supported by the Russian government. The Russians knew about the secret experiment about the people who has an extra ordinary ability. And because of that they support them more to make super soldiers to be their weapons to take down their enemies. And just this year they made a syringe or an augmented drug that can help enhance the ability of humans but one of their captives took it and we need to find that person to take the syringe.” He explains.

 “But why did they need me?” Looking puzzled. he try to sink all the details but he just don't get it.

“Because Chad, you are the one who has two different abilities because you inherit your powers from your parents, you have both of their powers that’s why the Division is after you.”

The two arrived at the Division looking tense because they didn’t bring someone but them because they didn’t convince Chad to come with them. They knew that when they didn’t done what their boss had told them they’ll surely be in danger.

“What are we going to say to General?” The short guy asks him with a tense on his voice.

 “Don’t ask because even I don’t know what to say to the General if he sees we don’t have Chad with us.” He answers back.

After that they stop talking, they reach the elevator and enter inside and push the 15th flr. button. A few moments they arrived on the floor and head towards a black door and enter. They saw their General talking to his phone and on the couch was his right hand man Zack, one of the 2nd generation, after the general talks in his phone he looks at the two guys.

He saw no one was with him and that no one was Chad. He asks them why they don’t have Chad with them and the two guys explain it to him. “An officer arrived in the area and he helped Chad that’s why we didn’t have him with us.” The tall man said with a crack in his voice.

The General stares at them like he’s going to kill them and the two step back feel frightened. He clenches his fist and stump in on the table and the two guys shock off their selves. “Sir we did everything we could. We even show him his parents’ pictures but still he doesn’t convince.” The short guy said trembling.

The General sat on his chair looking down and rubbing his forehead he feel disappointed and then he looks at Zack and tells him to guide the two out of his room. Zack looks at him and give Zack a stare and after that Zack knew what he’s going to do to those two.

When they are in front of the elevator Zack opens it and he let the two steps inside. They feel relief because nothings is going to happen to them; that’s what they thought, after that Zack stares at them and their faces suddenly look blank and Zack grinned at them. When the door closed he heard gunshots inside the elevator.
