Ash's Betrayal

A Date Day

Ash groggily woke up to the sun hitting his eyelids, he looked to the side to see Serena still snoozing of in the warm sun caressing her skin, he was temporarily entranced by her beauty, it was like she was practically glowing. He sat up and gently kissed her forehead and went over to the bathroom, he brushed his teeth and took a quick shower. After he got out he left a note on the door saying 'gonna go get some chow. Meet me at the cafeteria.' He slowly opened the door and looked at Serena one more time before closing the door. He knew he was a lucky man. He went down to the cafeteria and was greeted with stares from about everywhere inside it.

'Everyone must have heard about yesterday, lucky I have my cloak.' As he went over to the line, everyone's stares did not go away. Ice creams were melting in the warm summer sun, food was getting cold, breaths were held. 

Luckily, Clemont and Bonnie came to the rescue, "Don't worry people nothing to see here, just a regular joe!" Bonnie exclaimed, people actually snapped out of their trance and then continued to eat their food. 

sh whispered to Bonnie 'thank you'. Bonnie walked over to him and they both sat down on a table near a window. 

"So Ash, what are we gonna do today?" Bonnie asked. 

Ash yawned while saying, "I'm just gonna relax today. I've been training my Pokemon for years and I should give 'em a day off." Bonnie nodded and continued to eat her food, Ash followed suite and started devouring his food. Bonnie has gotten used to Ash's eating habits so they don't really care but the people around them say otherwise. Their faces were shocked that one person can eat a ton of food in less than 30 seconds while still going at it. He finished in about 2 minutes and then just suddenly walked out with Bonnie following him. 

"So Ash, what are you gonna do for your 7th anniversary with Serena?" Bonnie asked. Something just clicked together inside ash. He suddenly burst off in the direction of the shops, "Same old Ash." Bonnie tutted.

Serena finally woke up from her comfortable abode, she pretty much did the same thing as Ash when she woke up. This time though, she actually remembered it was her and Ash's anniversary, and she had come prepared, she walked over to the kitchen and grabbed what seemed to be some ingredients for a cake, like eggs, frosting, flour, all that stuff. She then started to bake the cake. 

Meanwhile.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE POSTED MY LOSS ON THE POKENET!". If you were within 10 metres of the shout, your ears would've popped, much like May's did. 

Meanwhile again.

Clemont was in his white t-shirt and baby blue shorts, slumped down on to the floor, sleeping, but you can see little mechanical parts that what seemed to be what he was working on.

Ash's P.O.V (10 hours later)

I can't believe I almost forgot our anniversary, thank arceus for Bonnie. Serena would've killed me if she found out, I guess I'm still that dense, carefree person inside. Oh well, what can you do? I texted Serena over to a famous restaurant within the city, it was called the Eevee-Extraordinary. I already made the reservations and I found the best gift. 

"Red, hey!" I recognised that voice instantly and I sprang up. 

"Hi Serena!" She walked over and I greeted her with a small peck on the lips, I pulled the chair out for her. "Ladies first." 

Serena giggled, "I see you are quite the gentlemen today." 

I sheepishly rubbed the back of my head and replied "I try to be." We sat down and started talking, just talking about whatever came to mind. 

"Hi would you like to take your orders?" A waitress asked. 

"Yes, I'll have a small bit of everything on the menu." The waitress looked puzzled. 

"Come again?" She asked. 

"No you probably heard me right." I replied. 

"And I'll share!" Serena said. The waitress just wrote something down and walked off.

1 hour later

"Wow that was the best meal I've ever had." Serena said. 

"You said it." I proceeded to release charizard out, "There is still one last thing I need to show you." Serena looked a bit confused as I took my hand out to offer Serena. 

"Okay." She replied. And just like that, we took off. 

We flew high into the sky, I looked at my wristwatch, "5...4...3...2...1." And there was a loud boom and crackle, I looked toward Serena to see her reaction and she looked like she was in a trance, eyes gleaming, mouth wide open. "It took a lot of time to plan Sere." She continued to enjoy the fireworks while quietly saying 'thank you' over and over again.

No one's P.O.V

Ash continued, "That's not the best part." 

Serena looked toward him in confusion, "Look forward." She did as he said, but secretly, Ash pulled out a tiny black box and opened it, he held it forward toward Serena while she was still looking forward. Serena continued to look when it seemed like it was over. 

"T-." She started but then another big POW entered her ears, she looked forward again, she began to tremble, she was shaking but not out of sadness, anger, depression or anything like that. It was joy. 

"Serena, will you marry me?" That was what it said. She looked back toward Ash, and he was holding out a ring while kneeling forward on Charizard's back, "I can't imagine my life if I didn't meet you at summer camp Serena." Her eyes were getting glossy. "I can't imagine what life would be like without you." She was trembling in happiness. "Because of that, I want to spend my life with you." She froze completely. "Serena, Will you marry me?"
You could say they almost fell off Charizard's back, she literally used body slam on him, but they ended it with a small celebration party, Bonnie was fangirling and congratulating at the same time while Clemont doing the same without the fangirling. They ate the cake Serena made and it was the best anyone could ever make. LITERALLY. after the cake, Serena and Ash went back into the room and i'm gonna keep this teen rated so I will only say they had a lot of fun.
