A new start

I'm writing another story too with SVU, Chicago PD and Chicago Fire in it, so here it is and hope you all enjoy! I will continue if this chapter arrives at least with 8 likes!

July

It's a warm day today in New York, the big apple is busy as usual and the people rush to work or have a walk down the streets of this fantastic city
For some people, the summer holidays have just began but for others like Ariel Blue, it's just not important to have a week off. She's a detective at the Special Victims Unit of New York, her sergeant is Olivia Benson, her mother. Ariel was always told that her father died in the army and she never got the opportunity to meet him because, Ariel was born after her father died. Olivia is very protective over Ariel and she wants the best from her, Ariel is a friendly and sometimes looses her temper but many men go crazy about her. Ariel is a slim, normal height, long brown hair with natural curls and brown eyes.
Ariel parks her car in front of the district at 8 o'clock in the morning and makes her way to her desk. Today she is very angry that makes Ariel want to throw things in the air for the anger she has inside her. She walks in and meets her eyes with her boyfriend's, Nick Amaro. They got together a year ago and they are work partners for years now. Last month Nick asked Ariel to marry him in a beautiful restaurant next to the sea. Things will turn up side down now for what Ariel knew from Barbara, a lawyer who is friends with the team.
"Hey baby, how you doing?" He asks as Ariel walks straight to his desk with  a killer look. "What is this about?!" She ask as she throws some papers to Nick, he checks them and then his expression turns serious. "Why didn't you tell me about your son Benicio?!" She is now shouting, Tutuola and Rollins come in and see the scene. Olivia charges from her office for hearing Ariel's voice and she goes to see what's going on. "Honey are you alright?" Olivia asks putting an arm around her daughter's shoulder. "No it isn't! This bastard cheated on me a year ago with a sister's prostitute while, we were together!" Ariel sobs, Amaro tries to go next to her but Ariel steps away. "Nick" she begins to say as she pulls off her engagement. "Were done!" Ariel slams the ring at Nick's face and walks towards Olivia's office.
Olivia exchanges a bad look with Nick and follows her daughter in her office, she shuts the door behind her. Ariel is sitting on the chair, she covers her face with her hands crying. "Honey it's going to be fine, you will sort everything out with Nick..." Ariel keeps shaking her head not wanting to hear another word from her mother. "It won't! Mum... I want to be transferred now!" And with that, Ariel leaves the office and goes to sit at her desk, she starts to work on a case, typing on her computer never meeting Nick's eyes. "Ariel I'm sorry but I was undercover..." Ariel looks at him for a second and her eyes return on the computer screen. "You weren't forced to have sex with a sister's prostitute Nick!" She says coldly, Nick knows that it's not worth fighting with Ariel because what he caused, broke Ariel's little heart. Amaro loved and still loves Ariel, since the first time he saw her, his eyes are only on Ariel. But now it's all finished, they will not return at the happy days...

A week later...

Ariel has arrived very early this morning at the district so, she didn't meet Nick, staring at her as Ariel goes to her desk. The first one to arrive is her mother with a newspaper in her hands, Olivia makes a sign to her daughter to follow her in the office. "I did what you've asked a week ago..." Olivia says sitting down on her chair, she then looks straight in Ariel's sad eyes. "Are you sure you want to do this honey?" Ariel looks at her shoes not wanting to meet her mother's eyes, she knows that if she does, she will start crying. "Yeah... I am mum..." She whispers, Olivia hands Ariel a piece of paper. "This is your form to get transferred." Benson explains, Ariel takes a look at it and reads District 21 of Chicago. "I'm going to be part of the Intelligence?!" She asks, Olivia notices a small smile growing on her sad face. "Yeah, you are the best cop I've ever seen and I want the best for you honey... I'm so proud of you Ariel and you are joining the most fantastic team in Chicago..." She explains, Ariel stands up and runs to hug her mother. "Thanks mum, I knew you would understand..." Benson nods looking at her own daughter taking a higher step in her future life. Thanks to Voight, sergeant of the team, he let Ariel going in as a detective. Olivia is really happy and appreciates Hank's help. Well in a way he had too...
"I'm really going to miss you Ariel!" Olivia lets a little tear run down her cheek making Ariel cry too. "Mum don't cry or else I will change my mind..." They both laugh holding hands.

The day after...

"Mum I'll call you when I get there ok?" Olivia never lets go of Ariel's hand, the whole team except Amaro, is with them too. They are all at the airport wanting to say goodbye to their amazing partner. "I'll miss when we went for a beer every night!" Rollins says giving Ariel a tight hug. "And I'll miss Ariel when she stole my food!" They all laugh, Ariel crosses her arms like a little girl looking at Tortuola. "Do you only remember the bad stuff I did to you? Plus it's not my fault if you bring delicious meals from home!" Tutuola punches playfully on Ariel's arm. "Oh before I forget... Amaro sends his best for you to enjoy your new life at Chicago... Honey you really should call him, I mean... I know what Amaro did was terrible but you know... Call him..." Ariel looks at Olivia and while she talks, Ariel thinks about Nick. Ariel loves Nick so much, she would do anything for him but what he did, makes Ariel change her feelings for him. "It's my flight!" Ariel points out as the lady on the speaker announces the number of the flight. "Call when you get there!" Ariel nods and hugs her mother so tight that makes Ariel feel awful to leave her family here in New York. "Thank you guys for everything and I hope we will see each other soon!" Ariel waves her hand as she goes directly to the other side, she then turns around to let a tear fall down.
As Ariel takes a seat on the plane next to the window, her cell vibrates. It's a message from Nick.

Nick:
Ariel I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about my son and that girl but I love you, I didn't want to hurt your feelings! I know you won't forgive me but I will fight for you, what ever it takes I'm going to.get you back and remember, I love you! Have a nice flight and a good New life in at Chicago! Nick xxx

"Sorry mam' but your phone needs to be switched off." Ariel turns her thoughts from the message to the hostess. "Sorry it was important but I'll turn it off straight away! Sorry again." The woman walks past Ariel with a smile and checks the other passengers. Ariel turns her cell off and puts her seatbelt on. She leans her head back looking out of the window, from now it's going to be a new life without all her problems... Nick especially. After a few minutes, the plane flys away into the sunny sky.

Chicago

Ariel is in a cab taking her down to the district 21, the air is much warmer than New York. She opens her window and lets the air hit her face. As she arrives in front of the district, she pays the taxi driver and walks through the stairs and finds herself in the main hall. Ariel spots a woman between her fifties, behind the desk writing something. She walks up to her taking a deep breath, the woman lifts her head up. "How can I help you mam'?"
"I'm the new detective, Ariel Blue from New York..." the woman nods and shakes hands with Ariel. "Nice to meet you Detective Blue, I'm sergeant Trudy Platt. I will take you up stairs, follow me." She makes sigh to Ariel to follow her up the stairs, Ariel looks around the new environment she's in.
As the two girls reach the bullpen, everyone turns around to stare at Ariel. Platt and Ariel knock on Voight's door and then they go in closing the door behind them.
"Did you see that?!" Ruzek whispers to Atwater, Erin lifts her head up to look at Adam Ruzek. "She fucking beautiful bro! I wonder who she is?" Atwater answers, Jay smiles. "And why she is here..." he says, Erin punches his arm playfully. "Why are you so interested?" Erin asks. "I think she is a hot babe!"the boys all laugh, Antonio Dawson joins in too. "Jay you must be careful with women... especially this one!" They all laugh till Erin crosses her arms and walks towards Antonio. "What are you trying to say?" Erin asks, Antonio changes his expression in a fake playfully scared face. "Just saying!" Dawson raises his hands in the air, the door opens and Plat and the girl come in the bullpen followed by Voight.
"Guys, this is our new detective Ariel Blue from the Special Victims Unit of New York." Bought explains, Ariel notices eyes on her. She raises her head to meet some black eyes then, she turns to look at everyone. "So Blue is going to partner with..." Russel cuts Hank Voight off. "Me!" They all laugh and Alvin Olinsky slaps his head. "Is going to partner up with Antonio..." the boys all whistle to Antonio, Ariel's face turns red for the embarrassment. "God Antonio! Why are you always the lucky guy here?" Atwater asks rolling his eyes, Antonio raises his shoulders and walks towards Ariel, Platt and Voight. As Antonio walks to them, he notices Ariel's face turning red. She is so beautiful and shy, she looks down at me as I lift my hand up to shake hers. "Nice to meet you, I'm Antonio Dawson."They shake hands and Ariel finally looks I'm Antonio's eyes. "I'm very happy to be here and very happy to be your partner. Thanks Voight fo having me." Voight caresses her shoulder and walks back in his office. "I must go down stairs, be good and don't let your tounges arrive down to my desk!" With the comment, Ariel blushes in front of Antonio, he notices it and makes way for Ariel to sit at her desk. Ariel sits on her chair and looks as Antonio sits at his desk and continues to write something on his computer.
