Golden Petals Part 1

I took sharp breaths as I ran through the forest,I heard the crashing behind me as the gang members drew closer.I ignored the few thorns and sharp rocks that stung my feet,I ran through a clump of bushes and saw a small cave.Inside was a dark hole,the sudden slashing sounds told me they were behind me.I slowly moved backwards not taking my eye off them,their evil grins told me they weren't looking to kill me quickly.Suddenly I tripped over a vine,screaming I fell down the hole and blacked out.

I opened my eyes and stared up in surprise,a little bit of light was shining on a patch of golden flowers even though the hole was just a speck from where I was.I checked myself for anything, but only found scrapes and a few crushed petals. 'How did I survive that fall?' I thought,no one answered.I stood up and stared at my surroundings,they looked like ruins. 'Legend says that monsters are sealed away under Mt Ebott,and no one that climbs the mountain returns.' I said to myself,I spotted a gateway through a dark hall.I carefully walked up and saw a dog,wolf cat thing with a a black and red striped shirt,it looked beaten up.It noticed me and it's eyes widened, 'Y-you're a human?!This is bad,you've got to leave before he finds you!' it said in a high-pitched voice. 'Who finds me?' I asked crouching down, 'H-him.' he said pointing behind me.I turned around and saw a tall goat man with white fur,golden hair and beard,his whites were yellow and his pupils red. 'Oh my,a human child?You must be so confused.' he said in a fatherly but creepy voice,his smile somehow managed to be comforting and scary. 'My name is Asgore,caretaker of the Ruins.My house is just at the end of the Ruins,come along,you look like you could use some rest.' he said,I couldn't see a way out of it so I nodded.We started walking and the weird dog wolf thing followed me meekly, 'Run along mutt.' Asgore said in a cold voice towards it. 'They're with me,they come with me.' I said nervously,I picked it up and managed to make a sure face. 'Very well,but come along my child.' Asgore said,I didn't think it was weird that he called me his child,it just seemed to be his nature.We walked through puzzles,monsters fled from Asgore when he came within ten feet of them.

'Wait here my child,I have some things to do.' Asgore said in a long hall,he walked into a hallway.After a few minutes I put the thing down, 'Hello,I'm Y/N.Sorry about dragging you into this,but you looked like you wanted to follow me.' I apologised sitting down. 'It's alright,I think you just saved my hide...for the moment.' it said staring where Asgore had left,I coughed politely and gestured to them. 'My name is Temmie,but you can just call me Tem.And I'm sorry to say that the only way out from this place...is through Asgore's house.' it said in it's high-pitched voice, 'If you don't mind me asking,are you a boy or a girl?' I asked hoping I didn't offend it. 'That's alright,almost everyone gets confused.I'm a girl,and on a other note I think we should start walking through.Waiting for him might not be the best idea.' Temmie said,I nodded in agreement and picked them up. 'Cross my heart,I hope not to die.' I said,I started walking to an uncertain future.
