Golden Petals Part 3

'W-what?!' I thought as I dodged the fireballs, 'It's a boss fight,the attacks are physical!' Temmie shouted.But since she was outside the fight she sounded muffled,but I could make out what she was saying.A fireball got so close to me that it literally burned of a bit of my sleeve,while I tried recovering from the shock five fireballs hit me at once.Everything blacked out and I saw my soul break into pieces, 'Y/N!You are the future of monsters and humans,stay DETERMINED!!' a boy-like voice said.Two options appeared in front of me,*RESET and *CONTINUE.I clicked on *CONTINUE,suddenly I woke up in the bed in Asgore's house. 'Y/N,you can reset?!' Temmie yapped jumping onto the bed, 'Wait,what?!?' I asked confused.Temmie stared at me for a moment,to be more specific,she was staring at my right ear.I touched it and felt a palm-sized flower,I checked in the reflection of the empty photo frame and saw it was one of the flowers I fell onto.I pulled it and a shooting pain went through my head, 'Okay,not trying THAT again!' I said plopping down on the bed.I realized that Temmie was waiting for something, 'What's 'resetting'?' I asked.She started giving me a long explanation about determination,save files and points and the things she's done with it. 'Trust me,I did every possible route.No one remembers it,it's been about twenty years since I last reset.After a while you kinda just let time move forward,hoping something new would happen.But I can't explain the flower.' Temmie finished,I realized I was extremely tired from the experience. 'I'm going to sleep on it,I want to make sure this isn't a dream or that I'm going crazy.' I said pulling the covers over myself, 'I'll keep watch,Asgore probably thinks you fell asleep too.' Temmie said and I floated into a dreamless sleep.

                                                                          ~Time skip~

I opened my eyes groggily,the place where the flower was felt a bit sore.I smelt the familiar smell of Peppermint Tea, 'How does the flower feel?' Temmie asked. 'A bit sore,but I think that's from sleeping on it.' I yawned and rubbed my eyes,I went over to drink the tea. 'Stop!You can use it later to heal you,just put it in your inventory!' Temmie, 'Um,how?' I asked confused. As soon as I asked the cup of tea disappeared, 'When you need to be healed in battle click on *ITEM and drink it,but save it for a really hard one.' Temmie explained. 'Come on,time for round two.' I sighed standing up, 'Something tells me I should check in the cupboard.' I thought.I opened the cupboard and saw a blue long-sleeved shirt with two purple stripes,brown shorts and hiking boots, 'You better put those on,they have higher defence.' Temmie said after checking them.She politely turned away as I changed,it hurt a bit when I accidentally pulled the flower when I changed shirts.My old clothes went into my inventory for later, 'Come on, let's see how it goes this time.' I said stretching.I walked through the door,and I felt someone watch me.
