Maddison's POV
The days flew by and we were Friday.
I didn't hear from Eminem the whole week but then again I couldn't really do anything but blame myself.
I did run away from him after all.
Here we are, last period of the day. I have to perform three songs of my choice and since it's the week my parents died most of them are pretty depressing.
I start singing probably my favorite song, Mockingbird by Eminem.
Eminem's POV
I was sitting in the back of the dark auditorium, watching her sing, illuminated by the spot lights.
She was singing my song. My song. And she was a good singer, well of course she was, she was studying to be a music producer.
Okay yes you don't have to sing to be a music producer but it's a plus.
She then started singing Hello Walls by Krizz Kaliko. The way she sang it, it was breathtaking. But she seemed so sad, so depressed.
I had to sing with her, somehow, I just had this huge urge to be on stage with her.
I discretely made my way to the teacher and asked her what her next song was. She told me it was Stan by Eminem.
I smirked at the fact that the teacher didn't seem to notice it was me. I quickly made my way backstage when the song ended and took the guy's place (he was helping her with the rapping part).
She hadn't noticed me yet, I was still hiding waiting for my cue.
She sang the first chorus with such emotion, it was better than when Elton John sang it.
I came in rapping and I would do anything to get that look on her face again. It was a mix between happiness, confusion, sadness, relief.
We sang together, me rapping and her singing. The only time she actually joined me was when I said "Sometimes I just cut myself to see how much it bleeds".
It raised some questions in me and I tried looking at her wrists but she was wearing a sweater.
Did she cut?
The song ended and before I could speak or even I don't know, hug her, she jump off stage and ran away.
I wanted to follow her but all of the students came up to me asking for pictures and autographs. I couldn't be rude and just tell them no so I had to stay.
After what felt like and hour I ran out of the class looking for Maddison like a maniac. I don't know what I wanted with her, but I wanted to make her happy.
I ran around campus trying to find her. When I was about to give up I heard a girl scream.
I instantly knew it was Maddison. I started running towards the scream until I saw her and a man.
She was running away from the guy and the dude looked like a fucking psycho.
I ran towards her and caught her in my arms. She immediately tried to get away from me until she was it was me.
Her yes were red and puffy from crying. Oh Angel what are you hiding from me?
I was going to beat up the crap out of the guy who was chasing her but when I looked up he had disappeared.
Maddison sniffed and said "Sorry I ruined your shirt. I promise I'll wash it"
She really is surprising sometimes.
"Don't worry about it, it's just a shirt" I said chuckling
"A shirt that could pay my rent" she mumbled so low I almost didn't hear her
It was true. This was an Armani shirt but I couldn't give a fuck, she was much more important than this stupid ass shirt.
Suddenly it started raining.
"Great. Well thank you for singing with me, I'll be on my way" she said smiling
"Wait how are you getting home?" I asked concerned
"Well it's either taking the bus or eating. I'm probably going to walk. Thank you again" she said walking away
Not this time.
"Maddison please come with me. It's late and raining. Let me take you home" I said jogging to catch up with her
"Really Marshall there is no need. You've done more than enough for me" she said smiling
It was weird for her to call me by my name.
"I'm not changing my mind.
