Hayden's P.O.V
"I can't believe we're saying goodbye," I say and pull her into another hug.
"Hayden, I'll see you soon. Our colleges aren't that far apart. We are seriously staying in the same state. Calm down." Charlotte says, and we pull away from the hug.
This was the last time I would see her for weeks.
"Fine, but you have to call me every day, and we have to see each other soon," I say as we put in the last boxes into her car.
"I will, I promise." She says and kisses me before getting into the car. She waves at me before driving away.
When she turns the corner and is out of my eyesight, I walk over and finish packing my boxes.
My girlfriend got excepted into one of the best colleges in California, and so did I.
Even if we were only a couple miles apart, I know she is only one call away, and I am too.
Charlotte's P.O.V
This was goodbye. For now at least. I knew I would see him again soon. I loved him too much to leave him forever and he feels the same way.
With each other, we would never be in the dark again. Our love lights the path we walk on. That's the path we will be walking on for life.
