Chp 6 :Hide and seek

Jack's POV

I woke up feeling a severe headache . I looked around to notice that i was tied to a cold metal chair with chains around my chest holding my movements , well i was super uncomfortable . I woke up in the same room i woke up in when I first got here , which scared me because i knew something bad's gonna happen.

I struggled trying to loosen the ropes around my wrists and ankles, but it was really hard thanks to the chain around me . I stopped knowing that it was hopeless, and then i see Mark standing in front of me . Ohuh ...

" soo jack ! What you did was sooo naughty." I crouched to my level and caressed my cheek . I started trembling knowing that he's gonna hurt me somehow. "Ohh don't be scared seánypoo! We're gonna play a game !" He clapped his hands excitedly , why is he acting childish?

"It's hide and seek !" He threw his hands in the air and gave me a toothy smile . "You're gonna hide and im gonna search for you . If i didn't find you in 5 minutes, you are free from the punishment ." He said .What could go wrong? I can hide from him in 5 minutes. "But if i found you , you're gonna be in lots of trouble love .." He added . Welp , changed my mind . I nodded still trembling but didn't say a word , He undid my ropes and chains and helped me stand up on my shaky legs . He set the alarm on his phone for 5 mins and started counting with his eyes shut .

I ran out of the room as fast as i can , and I discovered that i was in the basement. I bolted up the woody stairs and started looking around the place for a place good to use , until I remembered that there is enough space for me to hide under the bed , because my body is smaller than mark's , so he wont be able to get me easily . I tried to enter the locked room but it was locked as i heard mark say "32 , 31...."

I ran down to the kitchen and the first thing that got to my mind is hiding in the gap between the fridge and the wall . I fit myself in , it was perfect for me . "Ready or not Here i come !" I heard his deep voice coming from the basement.

I closed my eyes and prayed that he won't find me , as I listened to him go up stairs . I let out a shaky sigh after i hear him open the bathroom door , he started moving the curtains around as he hummed along megalavonia . He came down and looked around in the living room and said "clever jackie!"
And continued looking around .

Finally, he came to the kitchen ,I held my breath so he won't hear it . God why is 5 minutes taking so long ? He came so close to the gap but didn't check it . I couldn't hold me breath any longer, so I accidentally let a audible breath out . Shit .

"There you are "He said as he pulled me out of the gap by my arm . He smiled and pulled out his phone to show me that 43 seconds were left . Ugh why couldn't i stay any longer ? I started trembling "p-please don't h-hurt me.." I said between sobs .
"Uh uh ! Bad boys get punishments ." He said coldly as his grip tightened on my arm .
