Y.N.'s P.O.V.
"Yeah... we need to talk." Law's voice was stern and blunt. I could tell something was bothering him. Well really I was bothering him.
"Okay. What do we need to talk about?" I asked already knowing the answer to the questioned. I knew he wanted to talk about me, but I needed to find a way out of this talk. I needed to.
"We need to talk about you." Law spoke taking me away from my thoughts. I could tell he was very urgent and determined to have a talk with me. He seemed worried and upset.
"Oh.. what did I do?" again I asked another question I already knew the answer to.
"(Y.N.), are you alright?" his voice was softer now and light.
' Damn he gets right to the point. And there was the question I was trying avoid.'
"Yeah, yeah. Everything is fine. Everything is good." I lied.
"Are you sure, because you have been skipping meals lately and you've been more distant lately. Are you sure everything is okay?"
'Dammit! Why can't he just believe me?!?"
"Oh, I'm just going on a diet; been trying to loose weight, you know." I laughed lightly.
He needs to stop already.
"Skipping meals almost everyday isn't how you go on a diet, (Y.N.). So please just tell me what's really going on." the soft voice from before had disappeared ; now replaced with some anger.
He needs to stop.
"Captain, I'm not always hungry all the time. I do eat, it's just later." I replied, my own anger starting to seep out into my voice.
"Okay, if that's you excuse, then why have you been becoming more distant? You leave more often, and you rarely speak to any of the crew anymore? So what about that?"
Stop.
"I don't have to be around the crew all the time, Law! Sometimes people just want to be alone!" I shout, my fingers gripping my pants tighter and tighter.
Stop.
"You know you used to say shit like this before; I would believe you right now. You've been acting strangely, avoiding everyone as much as you can, and reusing to eat! (Y.N.) all I'm trying to do is help you so why won't you let me?"
You can't help me.
"There's nothing wrong and whatever has happened you can't fix. So please do me a favor and leave Law." my voice throbbed as I said those words. Honestly I wish it didn't have to come to this but of course. I always end up here.
I was always the problem.
I hadn't realized I was staring at my feet as my thoughts trailed off, and brought my head back up. Those steel grey eyes staring at me; not once moving away from me. I chose to keep my mouth shut and only stare back at him. It always ended like this.
I always said too much.
"Lunch is at 4... don't be late." Law spoke, his voice full of venom as he walked off. Everything within his voice, his walk, and even his eyes showed that he obviously was upset. But.
I can't apologize.
I never can apologize.
Not anymore.
I can't cry.
I can't hurt myself.
I can't talk to anyone.
I can't find the light.
I can only stand here.
In the dark.
And wait.
Till it's time.
Time for me to leave the crew once and for all.
Leave the world itself.
