As time went on with Alex I noticed the children would run from him. I couldn't understand why so I asked Blake what was going on.
"Nothing mom it's nothing. Everything is ok," he said shakily and kept looking around the room. This wasn't like him at all so I went to Markus.
"Hey Mark what's wrong?," I asked as I walked into his room and sat next to him on his bed.
"Nothing mom please don't hurt me and don't tell dad," he said scared and crying. What was going on here? My children were scared of Alex but why? What is he doing to them that I don't know about? I went to confront Alex about my boys and he was nowhere in sight. Where could he have gone? I call his phone and it goes to voicemail. Hmm how strange he always answers his phone. I write a note and put it on the kitchen table telling the boys I'll be back soon and walked out the door to look for him. I notice the car is still on the driveway and got into it and called him again. He finally answered after me calling him for 2 straight hours.
"What are you doing to our children?" I asked holding back my anger.
"What do you mean? I didn't do anything to them. Now who are you going to believe? Me or our lying sons?"
"Alex just tell me what you did they are scared of me now and scared of you". He started to laugh sinisterly and hung up. It scared the living daylights out of me hearing that laugh. What was he doing to my babies? They are only 8 years old and they were terrified of us. What was he telling my boys about me and doing to them? So many things were running through my head I felt like I was going to pass out. I got out of the car and ran in the house. I heard Blake screaming and Markus yelling for help and rustling upstairs. I ran up the stairs and the boys' room was locked.
