"You know," she said wearily, "sometimes I wish I was invisible,"
"No. You. Don't. Trust me," he said, his voice suddenly bitter. She looked at him in surprise and couldn't help but blurt out a stupid question.
"What do you mean?"
"The world use to see right through me. I didn't exist, I was a nobody, left to die."
"Oh, I-"
"We need to go," he interrupted and stalked off.
