It was school holidays, and Amanda should have felt happy, but holidays with her family were hardly holidays. Well, unless one could consider pointless arguments, several small house fires, tossing of pots and pans and being forced to eat two bites too much supper, as being holidays, then she had the perfect holidays. However, she hardly thought her new boyfriend would think so...it probably wasn't a wise idea to introduce him to the family in the first place, but it's just for the holidays, right?
