He was once a Silent Brother. Silent brothers aren't immortal, because the brothers die by Valentine. Silent brothers do live until they are murded. So Jem could still be alive.

If he was alive he could be a boyfriend that Sebastian kills. It would make since, he's time was a long time ago and it is very possible. If Jem were to live though he would have a lot of information. Jem was still a silent brother when Jace needed treatment to. So there are possibilities.

What does this mean for Tessa?

Her boyfriends back yay! But it leads to dangers for her to look out for. More things for her to worry about.

What would Jace do? Jem most likely knew his father, because he has been alive long enough.
