Dindiri then piled up some dead leaves, grass, and twigs from around her, lighting it carefully, the smell of smoke filling her with joy. It was beginning to grow dark and soon the Infernals would be in this part, she knew in the back of her mind she had to leave but it was so peaceful here. If she kept going she could make it into the woodlands but that would only put her at more of a risk, she decided against staying put however and advanced. Once in Highland Woods, she created a concentrated bonfire in which she used as sustenance hovering about carefully trying not to draw too much attention. She felt her heart flutter ever so suddenly but the feeling of unease leaving her as she hovered in midair and closed her eyes when suddenly a whooshing noise came from above, a hurricane like wind forced her down onto her back, an angry howl coming from all around. Dindiri tried to cover he ears but she could not move, she was pinned by something, when she opened her eyes a large First Sphere Angel called Glamor glanced down at her, two Ardors pinning her with their large swords.
"Little Ember," Glamor called, "why do you run from your fate? The Lumen Sages have vowed not to harm you anymore should you return to your time! Have you no heart? No sense in forgiving them for their misdemeanors? They may have tampered with your body, but you are still a child of light, you were taken in by the Lumen Sages. Branded with their mark, we still love and adore you as we would the rest of them!" it stated in an ancient angelic dialect but easily understood by Dindiri.
"I'd rather die at the hands of an Infernal than to be taken back! I despise you! I hate your kind! I HATE ALL OF YOU! YOU DID NOTHING TO STOP THEM! And now look at me...look at what I have become!" Dindiri screamed using her energy to reveal multiple markings as well as the Lumen Sage crest burned upon her earthy brown exposed stomach. "I curse the day they ever took me! My body is not a temple, it never will be thanks to the likes of you and those fucking SAGES! FOR ALL I CARE, YOU MOTHER FUCKERS CAN BURN IN THE DEEPEST PITS OF HELL!" she screamed a fire ball erupting from her hands, searing the metal off of the first Ardor angel. It was all so very instant, five large tails comprised of pure solar energy scorched the second Ardor while Glamor watched with apprehension, should it attack...should it retreat but the answer was decided when a flame spirit possessed Dindiri attacked with an elongated hand, pulling at its multiple chains, the sound of rushing winds echoing in the girl's ears.
Her face had changed, going from its innocent earth color to a slightly sun burnt phase, large fangs protruding from her mouth, and her eyes a blood red color, glowing with no sign of iris in them whatsoever. Glamor darted high into the air, the girl hanging on with all her strength, shooting a massive fire rock in which Dindiri returned with a simple swing of her wrist, the five tails had now grown into ten each wrapping around the Glamor before beginning to pull, a sickening slurping sound coming from its limbs until...SNAP! CRUNCH! RRRIIIPP! Echoed throughout the air, the face of the Glamor, which looked like some sort of artwork from Michelangelo, perfectly sculpted to perfection was ripped apart, by Dindiri's flaming claws. Soon after, she fell back to earth, her shoulders pumping up and down as she panted heavily through gritted teeth, angel blood running off of her face, hands, and stained clothing. Dindiri regained her sanity but not before a sudden surprise attack came from a rouge Infernal, Resentment which she easily dismembered with three solar tails, her body covered in burns. That was the price she paid for using the release resort, a painful one, but one that had to be done, she fell to her rear end, tears streaming from her face, questions of why, who and what were these creatures going to do with her if they caught her.
'Why me...why did it have to be me', Dindiri thought to herself but as she stood up, soft clapping could be heard from all around. A sweet perfume hung in the air, one that no soul, could refuse smelling; what was it? Who was wearing it?
"Interesting, so you're a Solar Wielder, ey there Kitty?" a seductive cooing voice called.
"H-Huh...w-what? Hey! H-Hey, who's there...SHOW YOURSELF NOW!" the girl demanded but her vocal cords had been strained and burned to the point where it slightly hurt the girl when it came to breathing. She coughed gripping her throat, a slight whisk of pain sliding through her body.
"Too much fire can do that to someone's lungs. That and second hand smoking. You wouldn't happen to smoke little kitten would you?" the voice called, a hand running over Dindiri's cheek, she veered her head away, growling her eyes darting around trying to make out what touched her.
"Don't touch me! I said show yourself!" the girl demanded.
"Aw, now, now you really would like for me to ruin our little game of cat and mouse?" the voice continued a small strip of chuckles following.
"Hmph, come out and play then you dirty rodent?" Dindiri fired back when a sharp kick to her stomach sent her flying, a loud shout ripping through her lips.
"Me? The rodent you say, oh contraire, you're the one who is the mouse, darling. I'm the big bad pussy cat pouncing on you." The voice came again with another sharp kick, this one missing by an inch, Dindiri took the time to move back, her body being carried by the air, her clothes flapping in the wind. Suddenly a shadow appeared behind her as well as a quick whip that sent the girl flying onto her stomach. "Hmm, not as sharp as I'd hope you'd be? Hmph, how sad." Dindiri laid completely still, her breathing heavy, her eyes watery from the sharp licking she just took. As she regained her strength as well as her normal skin color, she looked up only to see a beautiful gorgeous woman with a low but stunning haircut, covered from head to toe in an all-black with a white webbing over the front of her chest, what was hanging off of her shoulders like a poncho appeared to be thick straight jet-black hair. Bayonetta's sudden uniform change was rather fitting, her old style had grown on her, not to mention this one was better suited for fighting rather than for show. At her voluptuous sight, Dindiri's face turned a bright cherry red, never before had she gazed on anything so perfect, so breathe-taking.
"You know it's not polite to stare little one. Didn't your mother teach you any manners? I suppose I should be flattered though; it's been a while since anyone has looked at me that way. Don't go falling in love now though, you hear?" The woman replied with a wink, Dindiri stood slowly wiping her cheek off, but then her heart quickened as she felt the woman's aura, she was human but the pact with that demon who hovered behind her said everything. A witch, and not just any witch, an Umbran Witch. But that meant...
'Bayonetta!' Dindiri thought to herself. 'Bu-But...w-why is she...why is she after me? C-Could she...n-no!' She paused her body starting to trembling and her eyes widen. 'Is she hunting me? Oh fucking hell! I-I gotta get away...' she thought but her body wouldn't let her move and then it happened. Out of the blue, Bayonetta seemed to have recognize what this girl was through witnessing what she could do. There was no way someone like this girl could have taken down something like a Glamor, a Seraphim without being something greater than one itself.
"Hmm! Y-You..." Bayonetta began. "A Lumen Sage? But why would you be killing off your heavenly helpers...unless," she studied the girl carefully before a sly smile crossed her lips. "No, you're not a Lumen Sage, you're far from being one. You are in fact, a Solar Wielder, those before the Lumen Sages...a Shadow of the Sun and something that we Umbran witches have longed to find...well isn't this my lucky day." She purred licking her lips, Madama Butterfly's shadow growing ever so larger, a sudden chill whipping by the two.
"Shit!" Dindiri breathed through clenched teeth.
