Nico
Will rolled over on the grass, and put his hands behind his head like a pillow. He smiled at me, his golden hair shining, and patted the lush green grass next to him.
"What are you doing?" I asked skeptically.
"Watching the clouds, Death Boy," He answered cheerfully.
"Ok," I shrugged, and lied down next to him on the bright green grass, looking up at the turquoise sky streaked with white whisps.
"That one looks like a duck!" Will exclaimed, pointing up at the sky. I let out a skeptical snort. Will just chuckled softly.
"That one looks like Jason's hair when he doesn't brush it," I giggled. Will let out an angelic sounding laugh. The light was playing over him so that he looked like an angel, his blonde hair like a halo and his bright blue eyes the color of the sky. Wait. What was I thinking? I didn't like Will. Not in that way. And I totally didn't think he was hot. Not at all.

Will
Nico looked...happy. I had given him that happiness. My Death Boy, my sweet boy. His obsidian-black hair stuck up in weird places and his chocolate eyes were shining brightly. In other words, he looked adorable. In a totally friends way. Totally. I groaned inwardly as I stared at Nico.
"That one looks like you, Nico!" I laughed, pointing at a misshapen cloud. Nico made a face at me, and then pushed me over, tickling me. I shrieked and tried to tickle him back. Curse his damn death grip.
"Ahh, stop," Nico whined while laughing hysterically as I tickled him. Just as I realized I was straddling him, lying pretty much of top of him with our stomachs but quite touching, while he giggled uncontrollably as I tickled him. I broke off tickling him, and he stared up at me with wide, dark eyes.
"What?" He asked. His voice was so cute. I mean... that's when I noticed that Nico was staring at me, pretty intently. First at my eyes, then down to my lips. His lips were small and cherry-red. And then suddenly, without my brain comprehending, I leaned down and kissed him. He tasted like a warm fall day, like faded sunlight and pumpkin, and starry nights, like moonlight and midnight. It was wonderful. Kissing him felt familiar. Right.

Nico
Will kissed me. Will was kissing me. And it was amazing. Will tasted like sunlight, like color and summer days, and sweet lemonade. I tangled my hands in Will's golden curls, and deepened the kiss. I don't know who eventually broke the kiss first. Maybe it was me. Maybe it was Will. It didn't matter. Will was staring at me with a dazed look in his bright eyes and a goofy, adorable smile on his face. Meanwhile, I was trying not to freak out. Will had kissed me. I was smiling so much, my cheeks hurt. Will sat up off me, and I followed his lead.
"Neeks?" He asked timidly, like he was afraid I would walk away. Instead I tackled him in a giant hug.
"Oof!" Will exclaimed, laughing.
"So I take it me kissing you was okay?" He asked.
"It was amazing!" I blushed. Will kissed me softly on the lips again, and I was filled with liquid sunshine. He really was my Sunshine. I giggled and hugged him again. Gods, he actually had me giggling. The Death King did not giggle. At the same time though, my mind screamed, 'Will! So adorable! Ahh!' Ugh. I had it bad.
"Hey, Neeks," Will said softly.
"Hey Sunshine," I answered, my voice just as soft. We sat there together cuddling as dusk started to settle over the landscape.
"It's almost curfew.....as much as I hate to say it, we should go," Will prompted. I scrambled to my feet and helped Will up.
"Okay, I guess we can go to my cabin," I pouted.
"Cuddle me?" Will asked. Gods, he was adorable.
"Of course, Sunshine," I smiled, and placed my lips softly on his. He grabbed my hand and we walked back to my cabin together in the golden fading light, our hands clasped tightly together.
