Chapter 5

Third P.O.V

This is wired Chase though, he didn't remember waking up this morning, he slowly walked into the school to see it was dark. Chase looked around abit, "Bree? Adam? Leo?", Chase called. As Trent appeared glaring. Adam, Bree and Leo appear aswell. Chase let out a breathe. Trent hums, "They are my bestfriends", Trent says the room echoing as he goes to punch Chase, making him fall to the ground. Adam, Bree, Leo and Trent laugh evily.

Chase wakes up, breathing heavily, sweating and had tears in his eyes. Chase relizied it was just a bad dream and looked at the time, "4:15...Are you joking", Chase groans, rubbing his forehead tiredly and goes and rinses his face. Chase went back to the capsule and tries to rest, he didn't want to go back to sleep after that dream.

Chase stays there resting and trying to get back to sleep. Adam wakes up and bands on Chase's capsule, "Wake up Chasey!", Adam shouted and then done the same to Bree. Chase groans, he didn't go back to sleep and he had a super headache, "Can you be quite?", Chase asks once he is dressed for school. Adam looked at Chase, "NO!", Adam shouted, he was only messing around. Chase groans loudly and rubs his head going upstairs with Bree and Adam. Bree smiles and walks over to Chase once she got him a tablet and a glass of water, "Here?", Bree offered. Chase smiles at her and takes the glass off water and the tablet, taking them both. Chase looked at Bree, "Thank you..Listen I'm sorry for shouting at you and Leo yesterday", Chase says. Bree nodded, "Its fine Chase, we shouldn't have keep going on", Bree says softly. Leo nodded, "You can talk to us about anything, you know that right", Leo says. Chase nodded, "I know...Thanks you too", Chase smiles and hugs them both. Adam ran over, "What about me?", Adam asks and hugs all them tightly. They all pull back and eat breakfast before they head to school.

At school, Chase goes over to his locker as Trent came over, handing his hand out, "Hand it over nerd!", Trent says. Chase rolls his eyes and handing the homework to Trent. Trent frowns, "Don't roll your eyes at me!, Meet me after school once everyone left..Right here!", Trent says. Chase nodded slightly, "What if I don't?", Chase asks. Trent grins, "Your regret it tomorrow Chasey...You been warned", Trent says and tapped Chase's shoulder hard, before walking off. Chase watch him leave and let out a breathe. Chase sighed and walked over to Bree and Leo, "Hey guys..I won't be walking home with you lot today because I got to...go to science Club", Chase lied. He hoped they believe him, he wasn't the best liar. Chase walked off going to class. Leo hums, "I didn't think they was a science Club...Oh well I don't take notice in club", Leo shrugs. Bree laughed alittle, "Yeah, I don't do after school clubs ever, inless its cheerleading", Bree says and walks to class while Leo goes to his class.

The rest off the day goes quickly, Chase feeling like he is beening ignore at Lunch time be his brothers and sister. When the bell goes, Chase goes to his locker when everyone left. Trent walked up to Chase, "You turned up then and took my warning", Trent says. Chase sighed and crossed his arms, "What do you want Trent..I am done beening pushed around by you", Chase says bravely. Trent nodded but then chuckles pushing Chase to the floor, "I don't think you done being pushed around because you just got pushed", Trent says rudely. Chase rolls his eyes and stands up, "Whatever". Trent clenched his fists, "Don't you dare say that to me!", Trent says frowning and quickly punched Chase in the face. Chase gasps and quickly holds his nose, blood going over his hands. Chase wanted spike to come out right now but also didn't want him to come out. Chase was taken out off his thoughts as he got another punch to his face and the his stomach. Chase instantly felt sick as he fell to the floor. Trent kicked Chase before walking off, "See you tomorrow Chasey". Chase tries to hold his tears back as he laid on the floor, wanting to lay there forever. Chase eventually got up and grabbed his bag and starts walking home slowly.

Chase decided to walk through the park again. Chase saw Douglas and Douglas ran over, "What happened to your face?", Douglas asks, gasping alittle as he got closer. Chase sighed, "Geez thanks", Chase says. Douglas sighed, "This happened at school didn't it?", Douglas asks. Chase just shrugs and looked down. Douglas hums and sighed, "Hear?", Douglas says and passes Chase his sunglasses. Chase takes the sunglasses and smiles softly, "Thank you", Chase says and puts them on covering his brusied and black eye. Douglas smiles, "Just remember you got people who care about you son", Douglas says softly. Chase nodded, "Thank you..", Chase says and softly. Chase sniffles quitely. Douglas sighed and gives Chase a hug, not sure if Chase would hug back. Chase hugs back before pulling back, "I should go...They are going to wonder where I am", Chase says. Douglas nodded, "Yeah, keep the sunglasses, they suit you, plus I have loads more pairs...Bye son", Douglas says and shrugs. Chase nodded, "Bye..Thank you for the sunglasses again", Chases says and walks home.

Chase gets home, putting his bag pack down and goes straight to the bathroom quickly, wiping the blood off his face and hands. Chase took the sunglasses off and looked at his eye and his stomach and then put the sunglasses back on. Chase hums and goes downstairs and sits down at the table as dinner was layed out. Adam, Bree, Leo, Mr Davenport and Tasha all looked at Chase. Chase looked at them all feeling awarked, "What?". Tasha and Mr Davenport shake they heads. Tasha hums, "Hunny your wearing sunglasses in doors", Tasha says. Chase nodded, "Yep...I erm though they looked cool", Chase says awarkedly and stays eating.

Later on Bree, Leo and Chase were sitting on the sofa as the film they were watching finished. Adam hums, "Okay...Chase take the sunglasses off", Adam says, standing infront off Chase. Chase looked up at Adam and his eyes widened, "I'm not taking them off",  Chase says, shaking his head. Adam frowns, "What are you hiding..You can't lie to safe your life", Adam says and went to get the sunglasses. Chase jumped up and jumped over the sofa as he ran upstairs. Adam hums and ran after Chase. Bree hums and watched them as she flicked on enough channel and began watching the channel with Leo. Chase soon trip over a pair off shoes and the sunglasses came flying off. Adam quickly dashed for the sunglasses at the same time as Chase. Chase and Adam bang head. Chase hissed in pain and stands up properly, rubbing his head. Adam stands up properly, rubbing his own head as he looked up at Chase and his eyes widened, "Chase who did that to you?", Adam asks looking at Chase with a softly sad expression.
