"Wait wait, say that again?" Jenna pushed, her eyes wide as she stared up at Sean, her legs crossed and a tub of ice cream in her hand, splotches of the cold treat on her cheeks and lips.
"We nearly, Nearly, kissed but he's still holding a grudge against me! I was so close Jen! So close!" Sean groaned, sitting beside her, his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands, clearly frustrated.
"Why? Why is this grudge so important to him?" She asked, frowning. "I made a promise to him two years back that I'd come back for him, but as those years passed, he gave up on me and developed a hate for me" Sean stated as he looked into Jenna's eyes.
"Oh shit, that's pretty crap" she laughed dryly, taking another spoonful of ice cream and stuffing it into her mouth. "Thanks for being so sympathetic Jenna" he stuck his finger in the cold treat and scooped out a small amount, painting on her forehead with the ice cream.
"No! Sean! You ass bubble!" She whined, slapping the back of her spoon on his nose, drops of melted cream spluttering over his cheeks and eye lids.
"You cow" he groaned, standing and wiping the cream from his face, hearing her giggle behind him. "Paybacks a bitch" she winked as he sent her a glare, walking to the bathroom to wash his face.
Jenna stood too, cleaning her face with her hands, licking the ice cream from her fingers, looking up at Sean's chest.
"Jenna!" Sean called. "Yeah?" She called back, not taking her eyes off the chest. "I'm taking a shower, kay?"
"Yeah, alright" she stood and walked over to it, pulling it open slowly. The first thing that caught her eye was the plushie of the eye, her eyebrows creasing as she picked it up, staring at it.
"Okay..."
She frowned when she saw the broken sharpies, picking them up and observing them, her eyes shifting to the dozens of drawings of the exact same green eye.
She jumped when she heard a knock at the door, looking towards it. She shut the chest and walked towards it, making sure she looked presentable, opening the door, seeing a man looking at her, smiling politely.
"Hi! Can I help you?" She smiled, studying him briefly. "Yeah, hi, I was wondering if Sean was here?" He pursed his lips, pushing his coal black hair out of his eyes.
"Why? Who's asking?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Jay, I've known him for a while" he smiled politely, staring back at her.
She nodded and looked back, wondering whether she recognized the name, it seemed familiar. "He's not available, but may I leave a message?" She looked back at Jay, leaning on the door.
"Just tell him, Jay came here to talk about Mark" Jay nodded, stepping back and nodding to her. She opened her mouth to speak but he was already around the corner.
_______
Mark lay on the ground on his stomach, his eyes watching the shining blade as he fiddled with it in front of him, not once looking away from it. He sighed and closed his palm around the blade, ignoring the dull pain it gave him as the sharp edges cut into his skin.
He opened his hand once again, letting the razor drop to the floor, watching the wound it had made as blood seeped through, running down his hand, a small smile teasing his lips.
"Mark? What are you doing?" He heard a voice suddenly asked and he looked to the side slowly, his eyes meeting the blue orbs that belonged to Sean.
"Nothing" Mark mumbled, looking back at his bloody hands, raising his arms, the drops of blood rolling down his arm, dripping to the ground from his elbow.
"You shouldn't do that" Sean said and Mark rolled his eyes, picking up the razor once again. "So? I like it, it's red, red is my favorite colour" Mark said eerily, sending shivers down Sean's spine.
"But its blood, it belongs inside you, why let it out?" Sean shifted, glancing away. "Don't act so innocent Jackaboy, I remember when you cut your arms up real bad" Mark said lowly in a slow tone, Sean sensing the mockery in his voice as the words rolled off his tongue.
"That was a long time ago" Sean snapped, crossing his arms. "Come in here Jack" Mark stood slowly, still staring at his bloody hand. "Why?" Sean frowned, stepping back slightly, biting his lip.
"I wanna show you something" Mark tilted his head, grinning widely at the blood, not once looking away from it. "Depends on what it is?" Sean said, slowly walking to the door nervously.
"You won't find out if you don't come, lovely" Mark glanced over at him sidely, still grinning.
Sean opened the door, the metallic smell of blood hit him rather suddenly, making his splutter and cough, the smell almost too overwhelming. "Come here" Mark held out his uncut hand to Sean, smiling widely at him.
Sean stepped closer, reaching for Mark's hands, expecting him to roughly pull him closer but he didn't. Mark slowly pulled Sean closer to him, his eyes locked with Sean, bringing their bodies close.
Mark looked down at the razor in his blood covered hand, bringing it to Sean's hand who immediately tried to pull his hand away, Mark clutching Sean's hands, refusing to let him pull away.
"No! Mark!" Sean tried harder, squealing when he felt the cold and sticky blade press against his hand, slowly running along his hand, the pain hitting him rather suddenly.
"Ow! Fuck! Stop!" Sean begged, taking his other hand and attempting to slap Mark who acted fast, dropping the blade and grabbing Sean's hand, looking back up at him, a small yet content smile resting on his face.
Sean stared up at him, wincing as the pain pulsed through him, looking down at his hand, his blood rolling out from his wound and down his hand, rolling onto Mark's.
Mark let go of Sean's unharmed hand, lifting it to Sean's face, his thumb tracing over Sean's lower lip, the blood staining his lip, his eyes focused on Sean's mouth.
"I wonder..." Mark started, Sean frowning at what was happening, Mark wasn't being himself, Sean didn't like it.
"What your blood tastes like" Mark purred deeply, leaning close to Sean, placing his lips over Sean's.

Not only will you be confused, but you better be happy, I mean, it's not an actual, sincere kiss, far from it actually, but take it or leave it.
