Sean sat in the rain, his head in his hands, sitting on the park bench not too far from the hospital Mark was being held at. Sean felt so stupid for what happened, his teeth gritted and his eyes clamped shut tightly.
"Idiot, I'm such an idiot" He huffed irritably, sitting back on the bench and staring up at the sky, the rain falling onto his face. "Why are you an idiot?" A soft voice asked, his eyes opening yet again, feeling the rain suddenly stopped.
He sat up slightly, looking to his side, seeing a small girl standing right by him, her head tilted slightly, holding up an umbrella, tubes going into her nose and what he assumed, an oxygen tank beside her, her hand gripping the handle.
"Hi" Sean sighed, stuffing his head in his hands. "Why are you sitting in the rain mister?" She asked, stepping closer to him.
"Why are you out here alone? Where are your parents?" He asked, looking over at her. "My mama is at home mister, I like walking in the rain, my mama doesn't even know I do" she giggled, her eyes crinkled at the corners.
"That's not very safe" He chuckled breathlessly, examining her. She seemed so familiar to him, but he didn't know why. "I like your green hair mister, you remind me of a kind man I met" She giggled, reaching over and ruffling his green locks.
"Thank you" he smiled weakly. "That cap! I have one just like it!" She pointed to his cap which was in his hands, grinning widely. "What's your name darlin'?" He asked, holding his hand out to her.
"Enitza, pleased to make your... aq... aq... presence" she struggled to say the word 'acquaintance'. "Enitza? Really? My lord! It's me Jack!" His eyes widen in realisation, a widespread grin growing on his face.
"Jack! Really?" She immediately hugged him, letting go of her oxygen source, hugging him tightly. Sean was beyond baffled that she was still alive, remembering the last time they saw each other, she could barely walk straight, and that was 2 years ago.
"You're alive?! Holy shit" He gasped, shocked, smiling apologetically when she pulled away and was wet from hugging his soaked clothing. "Naughty! Don't say naughty words!" She scolded, pointing at him with a squint.
"It's so good to see you hon, gosh, how?" He gaped, leaning back on the wet bench, crossing his arms. "I never gave up mister Jack, my mama said that I shouldn't force meself to struggled but I just never gave op, I want to live and experience life more, like your Mark?" She frowned, trying to remember.
"He hates me Enitza, I don't know what to do!" Sean threw his hands up in exhaustion, pouting. "Don't give up mister Jack! If you love him, show him you do" she reassured. "Isn't the phrase, if you love them, let them go?" Sean rose an eyebrow, chuckling.
"Puh-lease mister Jack, is he going anywhere?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at him.
"No" Sean hung his head. "Then Voilà" she shrugged, letting out a small cough, raising her balled fist to cover her mouth. "But.... but he hates me" Sean began crying, Enitza letting go of her oxygen source again and lifted his head and looked into his eyes.
"Don't give up if you love him mister" She smiled and stepped back, looking at her adventure time watch. "I need to go mister Jack, it has been pl.... pl.... nice seeing you" she couldn't say 'pleasant'.
He smiled and nodded taking the 7 year olds words to consideration, watching as she walked out, the rain hitting his head and shoulders once again.

"Hey hon, what'd you get up to today?" Jenna asked, looking up from the book she was reading, smiling to Sean as he walked into the bedroom. "I went to see an old friend" Sean stated, pulling his wet shirt over his head, sighing.
"Did you walk in the rain? Babe, I told you not to do that! You'll catch your death!" She sighed, placing her book down, standing. Sean shrugged, walking into the bathroom, his head hung slightly.
"Where'd you get this?" He heard Jenna asked, picking up the cap. "Please put it down" Sean asked, watching as she frowned and lay it on the counter, watching Sean.
"I saw this picture, who's the guy with you?" She asked, picking up the photo of him and Mark, showing it to Sean with a tilt of her head.
"Where'd you get that?" Sean asked, grabbing it from her. "Relax, I found on the bed when I got here" she held her hands up in defense. "Who is he?" She asked, walking up to Sean with her lips pursed.
"Mark" Sean mumbled, staring at the photo with a heavy heart. "How haven't I met him?" She asked, watching Sean. "I went to see him today" Sean admitted, placing the photo on the desk.
"Oh?"
"He hates me" he sighed, placing both hands on the desk, leaning on it, hanging his head in shame, biting down on his lip. "What? Why?" She asked, placing her hand on Sean's shoulder, frowning.
"It's complicated" he shook his head, looking over at him. "Sean, there's something you're not tell me, isn't there?" She asked and he looked at her, staying silent until he grabbed the hand that was on his shoulder, pulling her body to his, kissing her roughly, his arms wrapping themselves around her slim figure.
She immediately kissed him back just as roughly, her hands tangling strands of his green locks. He pushed her back on the door, his hands lowering slowly. She let out a satisfied moan, throwing her head back slightly as Sean let his lips trailing down her jawline and neck, leaving small kisses.
He slipped his hands under her shirt, hearing her moan for him to continue.
Why was he doing this? He wondered to himself. This didn't feel right anymore. For the first time in the two years he didn't like her on him, he didn't like the taste of her lips, the feel of her skin didn't satisfy his want for more. She wasn't what he wanted. He was desperate that he could get past the feeling of not wanting her but the feeling only grew, his want for her faded.
He pulled away, licking his lips, hearing her pant heavily. "What? What's wrong?" She asked breathlessly, frowning at him. "This isn't right" he stepped back.
"Did I do something wrong?" She asked nervously, watching him.
"No, no its not you, well, it kind of is but, it's not your fault" He shook his head, pulling a dry shirt over his head, sighing. "What?" She asked in a small voice, playing with her fingers.
"I'm in love with someone else Jenna" he admitted, staring at her seriously, watching as she stared back, a nervous chuckle left her lips. "That's.... that's funny Sean" she stopped laughing when Sean didn't join.
"Wait, you're serious?"
"I'm sorry Jen" he sat down, covering his face with his hands shamefully.
"Have you been cheating on me?" She asked, and he shook his head, sighing loudly. "No, my old lover, I saw them, I realised I still love them, I need you to understand Jen, I don't love you" he stated honestly, looking up at her.
"Oh.... I'll just go" she said after a long moments of painful silence, picking up her bag and leaving leaving Sean to himself.
He stood, walking to the photo and staring at it, huffing before he looked down, seeing Chica staring up at him with her adorable eyes. "I'll show him, I'll show him he can trust me again, I won't lose him again" Sean said mainly to himself, petting Chica.
