Sam-

I open my eyes just enough to take in my surprisingly bright, white ceiling. Little noises escape my closed lips as i stretch my arms to the side and my toes hover a bit from doing so. I prop myself up on my elbows, eyes still barely open, but i notice Cats pink bed neatly made and Cat nowhere in sight. I groan a little falling back to the bed not caring that Cat is gone. Rolling over, a big whiff of bacon fills my nose. I really dont want to get up, im so tired but my damn stomach makes a loud grumble from the scent and i groan again, but louder from the hunger, why do i always have to be so hungry?

I sigh sitting up and rubbing sleep from my baggy eyes. I kick the blankets off me to the other side of the bed and stand up letting out a big yawn. At least its Saturday. I dont bother checking the time, instead i put on my fuzzy boot slippers and walk into the kitchen.

"Good morning sleepy head." Cat greets me with a warm smile, flipping a pancake with the pan. It almost falls to the ground but she just catches it, leaping in the air and having it fall to the pan which is 6 inches above the ground. She squeals as she does this, and her smile only brightens.

I smile instantly seeing Cat, and her little victory catch only makes the smile grow and my chuckle escape. "What we having?"  I ask her sitting on the stool and spinning a full turn. "Ah, im glad you asked Sammy, because today...we are having...BaCoN PaNcAkEs." She says the last part in the cute voice she does when shes really happy and it sounds kind of raspy...what, cute? Haha, no, i didnt-i mean-

"What are bacon pancakes?"

"Oh you know, just pancakes. With bacon in them. I put bacon in the batter when it was in the pan. Dont they sound amazing? Ive never done them before, but i thought it would be easier then cooking both, and i thought you'd like them..." She trails off placing a plate full of 4 'bacon pancakes' in front of me and herself.

"Well, your probably right. I hope they taste as good as they sound." I take my knife and fork and cut a small peice off, the pink bacon sticks out from the pancake mix. Closing my eyes i pop it in my mouth. I dont even have to chew to know that it is already my favourite breakfast ive ever had.

"You like?" Cat giggles as she watches me chew and takes a small bite of her own.

"Mama, love!" I sigh of deliciousness and take another, bigger, bite.

"Yay! Im so glad! I knew you would!" She squeals, then gets up and pours two tall glasses of orange juice. She places one in front of me and takes a sip of the other. "Thanks" i mumble through a mouth full of pancake. She giggles in response and eats more of hers while checking her phone.

"Oh my god Sam! We have to make the prop! We should do it today, dont you think? Sikowitz gave me the key to the school, so we can go whenever! I set everything up yesterday, so all the paper machè and paint and stuff is in the art theater." She babbles mindlessly. I just groan. I forgot about that stupid art project. "Uh, yeah whatever. We can leave in an hour." I suggest. Even though i didnt want to, i promised Cat. "what time is it?" I ask finishing the last of my breakfast. "10:18" She giggles out bringing the dirty dishes to the sink. "Oh." Is all i say as i walk over to her.

"Hey, need any help?" I ask Cat as she turns on the tap and gets the soap.

"Nope, im good. But thank you Sam." She smiles at my softly before turning her attention back to the dishes. But i cant help but nudge her to let me help. Which is weird. I hate helping people, and doing chores. The words even sicken me. "Ill wash, you dry?" I insist gently pushing her aside and taking over. She giggles slighy before agreeing. Thats Cat for you, always giggling.

"No Sam!! Stop!!!" Cat squeals, she is smiling widely and exploading in laughter.

We got a little crazy durring this art project. We got here at 11:20am and its now 7:53pm. Yep, we've been here all day. And we arent finished yet. We have made all the moon and stars and paper machèd all of it. Somehow it dried a lot quicker then it normally does. Cat said that the art closet has these little bottles that you squirt a couple drops into the paper machè and it makes it dry way quicker. An artist must have, she says. I gotta say, making it all wasnt easy, but it looks great. So right now im chasing her with a paintbrush and we are just completely goofing around. its awesome.
