My fingers are wrapped around a warm hot chocolate as Amera stumbles around in the kitchen, things getting knocked down.

"I didn't know you were that clumsy" I tell her, confusion coming through me. "I haven't had my body in weeks. It has been controlled by that-" she stops, holding her hands up.

"I don't know what is wrong with me. I suddenly have no balance or anything" I smile sympathetically to her. "I'm sorry. It's my fault she did that to you" I tell her, guilt sweeping me.
She just waves me off, then goes back to searching.

"What are you even looking for?" I ask her. She just smiles at me. "I haven't cooked in WEEKS. It's is driving me crazy." She likes to cook. I did not know that. I don't know anything about her.
Enough wasting time here.

I sweep the blankets off of me, standing up and setting the hot chocolate down. "We are having a girls day. You can cook later." I grab her arm sitting her on the couch.

"Wait for me to get dressed then we can go" She makes a face in confusion. "Okay sur-" I interrupt her. "Thank you" I rush into my bedroom, getting dressed. "First, we are going to see the latest chick flick. Then we are going shopping." Amera frowns at me. "How long are we going to be out?" I look down at my phone. 11 am. "Around five hours." She scoffs at me. "Alesia." I just give her a look.

Once we get to the movies, we can't choose. Okay, the choices aren't that great.
But we still want to see a movie.

I look around as Amera reads the choices again, and terror wraps its claws around my throat. The blond hair, the skin. The build. I try to take a breath, but I can't. My lungs are stuck in shock.
I gape, my lungs finally twisting and turning for air. But I can't get any. "Jere" I gasp out, and Anera comes over to me.
Tears prick my eyes as black crosses my vision. Cold chills sweep through me.
So cold. So cold. I fall, my knees failing me.

I wake up, and I have a massive head ache. "What happened?"
I ask, looking around.

Darkness surrounds me. I stand up, looking around. This is my room. I'm fine. Reaching for the door, I open it. Walking out, my eyes find Roy.

"Where are Breck and Amera?" He shrugs, focusing back on the tv show. Frowning, I walk into my room and sit down on the bed. "Oh wait! They went to the store." Roy yells to me. I roll my eyes. Now he tells me.

I get into the shower, then just put my pajamas on. Okay, I know it's only 7 but, it's not like I'm going anywhere. Walking on, I grab the remote and turn it to the news.

"A deadly plague strikes Asia. A few hours ago we got a 9th death caused by this unclassified plague.
We will be back after this break with more on the topic"
I frown. That's odd. A plague? How long have I been gone, 6-7 months?

Well, it is long enough for a plague to start I think. But a plague? "Roy, could that come here?" He shrugs, not paying attention.
Rolling my eyes I walk into Ameras room, looking at her bookshelf.

I've gotten into reading a lot lately. I finished the Divergent trilogy so now I'm looking at a few others.
The hunger games. I've heard of that one.

I pull it off of the shelf and retreat back into my room, turning a lamp on. Wait. Who goes shopping at like nine o'clock at night?

I shrug to myself and start reading, getting lost in the world of Katniss.

I close the book upon hearing Amera and Breck come in, and I lunge into the kitchen, starving. "So what did you get!" I look through the bags they were holding and see pizza rolls.
I moan.

It's been so long since I had these. I turn the oven on and pop them in, my stomach growling.

Looking at them, my arms lift me up into the counter. "So, how was the store?" Breck gives me a look, disbelief stretching across his face.
"Your in a good mood" he tells me. "I read part of the hunger games" Amera laughs behind me.

"You clearly haven't gotten to the part where-" Roy holds out a hand. "You cannot tell her. It will ruin the entire book!" He exclaims, disbelief running across his face.
I laugh, happiness running through me.
