•Calum's POV•"Luke Hemmings." His name slips past my lips.
The look on my friends' faces are so unreadable.
"Luke Hemmings?" Ashton says, more like a question.
"Yeah." I sigh.
"The Luke Hemmings." Michael asks.
I roll my eyes," yes, the Luke Hemmings."
They look at each other, completely baffled.
"Why that homo?" Ash snickers.
I don't reply and just let those words float in the air.
"That fag deserves to die." Michael scoffs.
I look down," well I was trying to be a good person and help for once." I laugh harshly.
"Oh, don't tell me you're starting to have a soft spot for him." Ashton rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, he better not be rubbing off on you Cal. We don't need you catching the gay disease." Mikey says.
I stay silent and bow my head, keeping my eyes locked on the floor.
Why did those words sound awful coming from them? It never did before.
The car ride to school involved them laughing and snickering at the things they said about Luke. I kept quiet the whole time.

•Luke's POV•
I stand in the bathroom, my hands clutching onto the bathroom sink. I feel dizziness hit me. I grab onto the sink tighter, using the little strength I have to hold myself up.
I begin to get lightheaded. I start to loose my footing and I watch the floor get closer and closer. It's as if I was watching this is slow-mo.
--
"Luke? Wake up." I hear a soft voice whisper.
I flutter my eyes open, looking at Cal very confused like, "Cal?" I ask making sure it was him. My voice wavers as I say his name. It shows my weakness.
"I found you passed out on the bathroom floor. Are you okay? What happened?" He asks rapidly.
"I-I don't know." I tremble.
"You don't look very good, Luke. I think you need to stay home today. Need help up?" He asks me and I nod.
He grabs my hand but I fall to ground being to weak to stand up.
Cal steps away from me slightly but only to scoop me into his arms. I tense at this actions, not expecting it.
He places me on the couch in the living room. He throws a blanket over me and I curl into it.
"Get some rest, okay?" He says, softly.
"What about you?" I question him.
He smiles at me. "I have school," he giggle slightly.
I nod and he heads upstairs to get ready for his school day. Almost as soon as he goes upstairs, sleep overtakes me.
::
I wake up and look at the clock that sits on the coffee table. It reads 12:24PM
I groan, being alone in a house always frightens me. It leave me alone, with my thoughts. The quiet is a violent place for me. It gives me too much time to over-think things.
