Chapter 7 | Future Foundation

A bright light shined at your face causing you to wake up, but the room you woke up in wasn't your bedroom, it looked more like an interrogation room. In a panicked state, you tried to move, but you're hands were tied behind your back.

The walls, ceiling, and floor were all the same dull grey, the only thing that stood out was a white table in the middle that had a cup of coffee resting upon it.

The only thing you could remember us seeing a shadow of a man hovering over you before everything went black.

You shook your head as you heard the door unlock, revealing a tall muscular man with greenish grey hair and piercing pink eyes, and to say he was intimidating was an understatement. He wore a scowl on his face along with bags insinuating he hasn't slept. 

"What are you staring at?"

"Where am I? What am I doing here?"

"You're at the Future Foundation, you're here because of a guy named Dazai. He's a-"

Beep
Beep
Beep

The sound of your alarm woke you up, but you couldn't shake that nightmare off. It felt so real, but why?

It was because of Dazai, though he was very friendly and such, he didn't tell you much about himself. You were curious, especially now since those people in the dark car asked Dazai if he would come with them.

Your thoughts were interrupted by a banging at the door, very loudly as well.

Opening the door, a small blonde pounced on you, hugging on to you tightly.

"I missed you, (Y/n)."

You looked down to see Lawless smiling before getting off of you.

"Also, I wanted to show you my friends! Licht, Mika, and Kyoko!"

Licht, the boy to the farthest right, had black hair and lazy grey eyes. He seemed to be annoyed by Lawless, but deep down inside, cared for him. I guess you could say he's a tsundere.

Mika, the boy beside him, had fluffy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He happily smiled at everything going on, every so often laughing in his over-sized, white hoodie.

Kyoko, the girl on the left, had very light lavender hair in two braids, she was a bit more serious than the rest, but still seemed to have fun.

"(Y/n), Kyouya hasn't been Kyouya since yesterday, can you cheer him up? I mean you two are dating."

You blushed and tried to correct Lawless, but Mika interrupted you before you could say anything.

"Woah, Kyouya has a girlfriend? That's so cool!"

Kyoko nodded in agreement before adding to his statement.

"We need to get them together as soon as possible. She'll know how to cheer him up."

"Wait a min-"

Before you could finish, Lawless grabbed your hand and pulled you out the door.

Of course, you had to stop him because you weren't going to go out in pajamas.

Lawless burst through the door, dragging you behind him along with his friends.

"Kyouya, you're girlfriend's here."

You heard a thump from a room close by, and Kyouya came stumbling out. He seemed tired, and he even seemed kind of relieved to see you.

"Kyouya, I thought we were friends! You never told me about your girlfriend!"

Mika's outburst lead to Kyouya sighing and kneeling in front of Mika.

"Please don't pester (Y/n), she's my student."

"And your girlfriend."

Kyoko piped up, causing you to awkwardly cough before trying to explain to her that you and Kyouya weren't dating.

Unfortunately, she thought it would be fun to continue the joke.

"Anyway, what are you doing here, Pupil?"

"Can you stop it with the nickname? And Lawless and his friends barged in, telling me that you were sad."

"Well, thank you for coming, and my cute nickname for you stays."

Heat rushed to your face at the fact he indirectly called you cute, and to only help the matter, Licht piped up.

"Why is your face all red? Are you sick or something?"

"N-no, I'm fine."

You tried to laugh it off, but the awkward aura still lingered in the air until Lawless broke it.

"Hey (Y/n), I'm hungry."

This caused the three others to agree and whine for you to cook food for them.

"Fine, I'll make you guys some food. Kyouya do you want anything?"

"No, I'm not hungry."

You shrugged your shoulders and went to the kitchen to cook something, while the group of four started to pester Kyouya.

"I'm done."

The four little devils ran over to where you were, smiling widely before taking their plates and sitting at the table.

"This is really good!"

"Yeah!"

You giggled before seeing Kyouya walk in the kitchen.

"Listen (Y/n), can I talk to you in private about yesterday?"

There you guys go! I'm going to start updating more recently, or at least try.

Also I'm so sorry if this plot is a little all over the place, but it'll all make sense soon so stay tuned!
