Chapter 9 | Halloween

Locking the door behind you, you and Aya walked down the stairs.

"Remember, we have to get Halloween candy."

Aya nodded at your statement, before running to the nearby grocery store. Following her inside, you caught glimpse of a familiar man with silver hair along with a small boy with blonde locks.

"Yay! (Y/n) here!"

Mika grasped you into a hug, knocking the air out of you, and following him was his dad.

"Mika, don't hurt your friend.~"

"Oh, sorry (Y/n), I got excited."

You giggled, muttering it's fine before looking where your friend ran off to, but Mika grabbed your hand.

"Wait, (Y/n), I was wondering if you would like to go trick or treating with me and my friends! Please!"

"W-well, you see, Mika, when you're as old as me, you don't go trick or treating anymore."

"What? Really? Then will you at least walk with us? Dad will be there too."

"Alright."

Mika jumped up and wrapped his arms around you tightly, exclaiming 'thank you's into your neck.

"Come on now, Mika, we have to finish shopping. Goodbye for now, Ms. (Y/n)."

You blushed as Mika followed his dad by grabbing his sleeve.

Aya giggled as she placed the lollipop in her mouth.

"So you're going to spend Halloween with another man? What is Mr. Tutor going to say about that?"

"It's not like that! The 'Another man' is just Mika's dad, so stop with the creepy stuff!"

Aya burst out laughing, replying with a 'like that'll ever happen.' You sighed at your friend's behavior.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay alone this year? I'm sure you could join us, they're very nice kids and I know Mika's dad wouldn't mind."

"Nah, I think I'll stay here, plus my friend Bokuto is coming over, so I won't feel lonely."

You giggled under your breath, you see, Aya has a friend named Bokuto and to say that she gets flustered when you tease her about him, would be an understatement.

"Okay, don't get pregnant now!"

"What?!? Who said anything about that?! He's my friend, you jerk!"

You laughed until the doorbell rang, and upon opening it, Licht, Lawless, Mika, and Kyoko stood with a smile. They tackled you to the floor before you could say hello.

"Hey (Y/n), where's your costume?"

Lawless looked disappointed as you got off the floor.

"Oh, I guess I forgot, sorry."

The group awed as Mika's dad appeared behind them, smirking like he knew what to do.

"We could probably just make one."

Aya joined in, appeared behind you, 'What's with these two? Is it like the full moon or something?' you thought as Aya's face spread the same smirk.

"I think I have an idea as what you could be."

"Whatever you're thinking, stop."

"Just sit at the couch and we'll get started."

Reluctantly, you sat down and the group started their planning.
