Chapter one

Johnny has a sister?

Johnny's POV

Sodapop introduced himself to my sister.

"So what's your name pretty little thing" Steve walked up.

"Janie, and I'm not pretty" she hissed.

I can tell she already don't like Steve. Kind of funny her face expression showed it.

"Janie, I need to get that blood off your face" I tried to grab her but she hit my hand.

"Don't touch me Johnny not in the mood" she said feisty

"What's wrong..." I crossed my arms.

"My back still hurts" she raised her eyebrows.

Soon it clicked "They hit your back, I thought it was just your legs and your face?" I yelled.

"I don't want to talk about it..." she put her hands in her pocket.

I pulled her to the side. As I pulled the back of her shirt up to see the bruises and a little blood.

"I need to clean you up..." I could tell she was mad I looked.

"I'm fine" I could tell in her eyes she was blowing this off.

"You are staying at one of my trustful friends house" I finally broke the news to her.

"You don't tell me what to do" she growled.

Janie's POV

I pouted when my brother told me what he had planned for me.

"You are in no condition to go home" Soon Johnny started yelling.

It wasn't hatred screaming. It was more of I'm really concern screaming.

"Fine" I swallowed my pride.

"Hey Johnny" some guy That looked familiar jumped on Johnny.

"Who's this girl" he grinned at me

I blushed a little.

"I'm Two-bit" he held a hand out.

"Two-bit that is my sister Janie" Johnny introduced me.

I smiled and took his hand.

"Johnny Cade has a sister." Two-bit jumped around.

I giggled. I think I like his friends.

"Johnny" some tall guy walked up.

"Is this your sister you spoke up" he smirked

"Hi I'm Janie" I smiled

"I'm Darrell you can call me Darry" he held a hand out.

"I wished I was around when that happened I'm going to get them" some other guy walked up talking towards Johnny.

Then I started to laugh.

They all looked confused.

"I punched him and broke his nose..." I giggled.

"Punched who?" The strange guy said.

"Ring guy who did this to my face as well" I smiled

Johnny smirked "Leave it to you to laugh at that"

"Hey Janie why did you laugh when he hit you" Ponyboy joined the conversation.
