I was new to the High School. I didnt know anyone. I didn't even know where i was supposed to go. I sighed as I looked at the class numbers, searching for the lab room. I've always wanted to be a scientist. Ever since I was little. And now was my chance.

"Do you need some help young lady?" A deep and strong voice came behind. I turned and looked the direction of the voice. "Oh. Yes. I'm looking the lab room? Is it in this direction? I'm new here." I tried to spit out. I was so nervous that I was shaking. The person laughed. "The lab room is all the way across the school." I sighed in embarrassment. The person put there hand on my shoulder. "Here I'll grab someone to bring you there. PARKER!!!"
The person yelled at a boy, closing his locker. "Your heading to the Lab right?""That's the only place you'll find me." The boy laughed. "Take this young lady with you. Alright?" "Alright. Come on." The boy shout his locker and walked down the hall. "Thank you sir."I said to the person with a smile and ran to catch up with the young boy.

We walked in silence for a while then he broke the silence. "So.. your new there?" He questioned me. "Oh yes. I just moved here a week ago. I'm originally from TN." I spoke. "But I moved here to live with my uncle." Then the young boy stopped walking and starred at me. "What?" I asked. I was really nervous now. "You live with you uncle too?" He asked walking very close to me. He was too close. "I-Um... Yes?"

He just stood there starring at me. I could feel myself heating up. "I do to!" He smiled.

We finally made it to the lab. "Parker. Your late again." A mean looking man said, not even looking at him. "I was helping Miss. Carter here." Woah!!! How does he know my name?! The man finally looked up and smiled at me. Surprisingly, the man had a very gentle smile.

"Now. Miss. Carter. Please take a area as your own and get on with the starter." Then, the man looked back at his book. I want to an area that was close to Parkers and put my stuff down and began working.

Hours passed and I alright have twelve sheets of homework. I sighed, placed my work in my neatly organized binder and head out. "Hey! Carter!!" Parker had called on me so I waited for him. "How was your first day?" He asked with a chuckle, meaning it ad a joke. I also laughed. "Joyful." I spoke using finger quotes. Then we both laughed.

"Hey. So i was wondering if you wanted to study for the test for tomorrow?" He said with a blush, rubbing the back of his neck. I laughed. "Yeah. That would be nice." I smiled. Then he stuck his hand out. "Peter. Peter Parker." Then i gave him a firm handshake. "Lucy. Lucy Carter." We smiled and then we walked together.
