POV: Tess lee Gray

Lazily opening my eyes, I blinked a couple times and tried to sit up. My body was stiff and sore. Turning on my side I propped myself up on my elbow. Looking around I was still in the woods where I was last night. Remembering that I finally escaped I lightly smiled to my self. This was a huge accomplishment and I was proud of my self. I gazed upon the woods, it was quiet just like last night. looking up i watched the different color leaves flutter down from the tress. Fall time, it was my favorite time of the year. The sky was dark yet it was still bright out. Another thing I love, this time a day where you can think and be all to yourself, before the sun comes out fully. I stood up on my two feet and brushed the dirt and crushed leaves off my clothes. Wait a second...wasn't there a light in that direction last night? Maybe I should go towards it? Could it be to big of a risk to go towards it? At least it would be better than going back towards the orphanage. I went with my gut and slowly started walking to the area I saw the light. Lightly humming the song "down" by Jason Walker as I walked. The song was so beautiful written in every way. Thoughts  clouded my mind as I spotted something moving towards me in the distance. A man? A kidnapper? My dad that had left me since I was so worthless to him? I thought fathers were supposed to love there child's, not wanting anything to happen to them. Obviously not me I was a useless, waste of time and space to him. Anger grew inside me. My thoughts traveled back to the guy. Something in me made me want to go closer to him, but he could be dangerous. I wasn't going to take any chances. I quickly turned around and spotted a small path to my right. Quickly running on the small dirt trail, it lead to a little river with large rocks across. Stepping onto the first rock, than the next. I skipped across them carefully, reaching the end I looked back and was ready to make my way out of the rest of the woods go down town and to the train station. I turned around and bumped into something hard. How in the world does a tree pop out of no where!! I said quietly to myself. I heard a deep chuckle and it was music to my ears. Like when you haven't listened to a song that you liked in a long time and you hear it. Lifting my head up I spotted a guy around 17-18 looking down at me. Could it be the guy that was back there? Questions once again clouded my head as I Slowly backed away. Slipping on the wet grass i fell right back into the river. The cold, wet and muddy river. Thankfully it was shallow nor fast flowing, it actually was smaller that I thought. The guy stood there looking surprised. Hoping he would help me up, but obviously not I jumped up and looked down to find my pants soaked. Now where was I supposed to get cleaned up? I groaned to myself. I probably looked horrible and the thoughts in my mind clearly showed on my facial expression.
I looked back up to the 5"10ish guy.
He smiled with only one side of his mouth, more smirk like than a smile. His eyes squinted down at me as he said
"Would it make you feel better if I told you, you look fine?"
I scoffed as I spoke
What would make me feel better is if you would get that smirk off your face.
I glared at him while walking right past him, purposely bumping into his shoulder. Slightly taken back he reached out and grabbed my wrist unexpectedly. I winced as he looked at me confused. It brought back memories to when my hand got slammed between my door and the nail board. Slashing my wrist up from nails sticking out. How did it happened you may ask? Well one I'm clumsy, two my door was slammed on me by Clarissa and her "friends." Let's be honest though they were going to leave her some day. They just want attention, even more attention than a new born baby.

POV: Peter Lycan Woods (the anonymous)

My walk was going great, yet my wolf was being absolutely insane. I kept telling Mason to stop or calm himself down. Maybe our mate was close to us? Who knows, today wasn't going to be a busy day. Actually I don't even have anything planned. As I walked though the silent woods I saw a girl up ahead.
"Mate!!" Mason said
This girl up ahead is my mate? I stopped in my tracks and looked right at her. We both looked at each other walking much quicker trying to get by her, she took off in a sprint in a path towards the woods. The Meyers path it wasn't anything special just a small creak that leads you to nowhere. I followed her though the shortcut next to me and watched as she quickly ran across the rocks in the river. I could smell her scent from here. It smelled like fresh laundry. I laughed as she turned back around looking for me. I silently walked behind her and waited for her to turn around.
When she did I looked down at her and then noticed I was spacing out. She took a step back and fell into the water before I could grab her. I felt guilt and shock as I starred down at her. I wonder what her name is? Samantha? Claire? I looked at her face and noticed she looked worried and looked down at herself.
"Would it make you feel better if I told you, you look fine?" I smirked down.
She shook her head.
"What would make me feel better is if you get that smirk off your face." She spoke. Bumping into my shoulder as she walked behind me.
I reached out and grabbed her wrist. She winced in pain and I really hope she haven't hurt herself. My wolf whimpered silently just thinking of it.
She pulled her small hand away. I shook that off, now to get her home with me.
"A little muddy and wet don't you think?" I asked knowing that the question would annoy her.
She put her hands up in the air.
"What does it look like" she spoke
I looked down and pretended to be sad and act like my feeling were hurt. Luckily I was good at acting since my mother forced me to take a class. She told me it would "be good for different causes."
"No..I didn't mean it like that. I..i uhh sorry?" She said being all worried.
I smiled widely and laughed.
"I was joking..aahagah."
"Uh I actually wanted to ask if you wanted to clean up at my place, its right over there." I pointed to the direction.
"Oh, but I don't know you."
"Well where are you heading off to?" I questioned. As needy and desperate as it sounds I wasn't going to let her go anywhere without me.

POV:Tess lee Gray
"Well where are you heading off to?" He questioned. I though for a moment. Where am I going to go once I get onto the train to the next city? What are my plans? By now only two thoughts came to my mind. One going to the train station and going with the flow from there. Or two going with this cute guy that's two or three years older than me. Into his house and just "cleaning up." I looked back in his eyes and his eyes were black? He turned alway like the speed of light. I took a step and placed my hand on his shoulder turning him back towards me.
As I touch his shoulder bolts of electricity shot though my hand. This wasn't any cliché "it felt like fireworks and explosives." This was comforting yet weird? He turned towards me his dark brown eyes looking into my blue ones. I can trust him can't I?

"Yes" I spoke loud and confident.
