Elise's POV

I tapped my fingers over the corners of my phone hesitantly, I had to call him, he had to believe that I was coming for my dad. "Come on Elise, you can do it." I whispered, taking a deep breath in as I called Cal exhaling slowly as the phone began to ring.

"Did you get my note okay?" Cal spoke almost instantly, I could tell he was smiling from the way he spoke yet anger bubbled inside me.

"What have you done with him." I scowled angrily, my hand clenched as he giggled at my furiosity. "Don't fucking hurt him." I spoke before he could try and mess me around.

A few yells and cries for help were heard until grunts and an impact from a melee weapon hit its target silencing those voices, Cal sighed impatiently. "I guess I should let you pick the old guy up. Come by the warehouse tomorrow at 9pm, alone." He hung up leaving me no chance to reply, he was hurting my dad, he had crossed a line he didn't want to cross. Smacking the wall beside me I headed back indoors and into the living room.

Vik and Harry were sat on one sofa together quietly chatting among each other when we all piled through the door dispersing around the room taking a seat. "We have until tomorrow at 9pm, are we even ready?"

I dropped to the floor crossing my legs twiddling with my thumbs nervously, "We just need to figure out who's doing what." Vik shrugged looking at everyone in the room. He picked up his trusty laptop from beside him on the floor and typed away at the keyboard before turning it around so everyone could see the blue prints of the building he had discovered.

"Josh, you will be here, you'll be higher up than us on the bigger building, If it goes sour we can quickly thin out however many guys are there giving everyone a chance to escape." Vik pointed to the taller building on the left that had a higher roof than the one Cal would be on. "We all need to be ready, if we follow behind Elise after they wont suspect us. Surprise attack." He smiled looking at everyone who was listening intently.

Vik carried on instructing us what to do and where to go but my mind was too busy wandering else where, the rain ran drops down the window sending me deep into my thoughts. I hoped my dad would be okay, I wanted to apologise for everything, all I could think of was how scared he would be right now. "Elise?" Simon whispered putting an arm around my shoulder shaking me lightly.

"Huh?" I blinked repeatedly realising everyone was getting ready to leave, I guess the plan was set. I got up dusting any dirt off my bum I turned to face Simon who looked concerned.

"He's gonna be fine, we're gonna rescue your dad and Cal will be over before you know it okay?" He smiled holding my shoulders in his hands I wrapped my arms around his waist burying my head in his chest. His grip tightened slightly for a second before pulling away he pressed his lips against mine lightly. I took his hand leading him upstairs to sleep, I needed him for comfort.

...

I pulled up in my car parking outside the building, everyone was down the street preparing them selves for the events that were about to unfold. Chills slithered up my spine like a snake moving towards its prey, my heart began racing faster each time I passed a level going up to the roof. The silence was deafening, almost like last time I was here. I reached the top of the other end of the last floor I put my hands against the cool steel before pushing it I hesitated. Gather your thoughts Elise. This was the end, now or never, I calmed myself pulling on a brave face I pushed open the door and headed up the final set of stairs out into the open. "Took your time." He groaned with his back to me.

I slowly took steps closer towards him being cautious of everyone around, "Got your self protected I see." I smiled in a cocky manner causing him to turn his head so I could now see the side of his face. "Come on it's only me." I giggled causing him to turn around, his face was serious, he wasn't going to play games like he used to.

"Just in case. Your just a bit two faced." He smiled back at me baring his pearly white teeth. He hid his teeth again still keeping a small smile he stroked my hair tucking a few loose strands behind my ear. I noticed Josh appear on my left on the taller building, he bobbed behind the wall disappearing again.

I looked back at Cal who was fiddling with my top on my shoulder, "Where is he?" I asked bluntly, Cal waved his hand and he was brought out with his hands tied behind his back. "Dad!" I called out running over to him wrapping my arms around him I hugged him tightly. "I'm so sorry." I whispered pulling away from the hug noticing he grimaced in pain.

Cal looked up alerted by a noise over by the door, it creaked open echoing the area as everything fell silent again. "You lying bitch." Cal growled pulling a gun from his blue jeans he aimed at me, I was restrained from moving as much as I wriggled I wasn't being released.

Squeezing my eyes shut I heard the gun echo and a drop of something heavy.

Sorry I didn't update for a while, final year at school so I hardly get a chance to write.
