"I hate you guys so much!!!" I screamed at my friends as I sped through the halls.
"I'm sorry," Amy muttered as she caught up to me "It suddenly slipped my mouth! I didn't even know what I was saying!"
"Well, I did" Pam announced "I mean think about it. The whole student council never once gave a second glance towards our kind of people"
"How could you say that?!" I yelled. Is she serious?! Is she friggin' serious?!
"Yeah" Amy piped up "Think, how many times do you use the term 'if I were in charge around here' usually?"
I shrugged "I don't know...once a week?" Pam snorted "Try four times a day!"
"You're always complaining about how the popular kids never take notice of us...so I thought maybe..." Amy trailed off.
What is this?! Gang up on Ms. Andrea day?!
Besides, the look that Amy and Pam were giving me made me feel really guilty...Come on, if you're one of our kind you'd feel the same right?
"Fine, I'll do it" I said in defeat. Almost immediately, their faces brightened up.
"Success! We promise to do everything in helping you, Ms. future prez!" They both said enthusiastically
"Yoo-hoo! Pauline!" A honey-filled voice rang out. We all turned to see Katie(with her minions) running towards us. When she saw us(Amy and I) her smile turned into a frown which she quickly covered up but not before I saw it.
"Oh, hey Andrea, Amelia" She greeted in a tight voice. We both muttered our greetings.
"So we were thinking?" Stacey started "If you could help is with the posters" Rebecca finished.
Pam shrugged "I don't know-"
"Don't be silly! You'd absolutely love to come with us!" She gave Pam a look that screamed murder. Pam nodded shakily. The poor girl...
"Anyways, good luck on the campaign!" Katie told me "Good luck to you as well"
"Um, Katie doesn't need luck?" Stacey stated "She'd win either way?"
I clenched my fist as Katie did a laugh that sounded like two glasses that clinked together.
"Don't be like that, Stacey" Katie said. "The campaigns before were so boring since we had no one to compete against" Rebecca said.
Of course no one competed against you. It"s already obvious you'd win so why bother?
We muttered our goodbyes then Pam was yanked away by Rebecca.
I'll pray for your soul, Pam.
