"Hi." She said softly to me after approximately thirty seconds of silence.

I glared at her and could feel my inner rage rising.

Hi?! After what she did, all she can say is HI?!

I wanted to scream at her face right then and there but calmed myself down.

She wasn't worth it.

She wasn't worth anything at all.

Forcing a smile on my face I told her. "You know what? It's fine because something weird happened..."

I took a sharp intake of breath seeing other kids form a circle around us and my eyes welled up with tears.

"Of all people, I never thought the first person would be you, Pam..." Pam's eyes widened and she feigned innocence. "What do you mean?"

"I'm saying that I. Hate. You. Pauline." I eased the words out one at time, slowly as though she was a child and wouldn't understand what I was saying.

"Andrea, let's just go." Amy said as she placed her hand on my shoulder, I just nodded my head. I felt sick, if I tried to say anymore, I'd have a mental breakdown.

A couple of weeks ago, if you told me Pam would do this, I'd laugh at your face and tell you to quit foolin' around. I know that a couple of months ago, she'd say the same thing.

How could I have been so blind?

As Amy and I exited the room, a drop of water fell on my face and I looked up to see dark clouds.

"A storm's brewing..." Amy announced and I nodded, thanking whichever god thought of sending me rain to match my mood.

"Um... I don't think you understand the situation..." I quirked an eyebrow at her. She knew better than to mess with me when I'm in a mood"Um...it's gonna rain? And we don't have an umbrella?"

My eyes widened as the thought occured to me, I lifted a shivering finger to the sky. "You...wouldn't...dare..." On cue, it started drizzling, then showering, then an all out rainstorm.

"What the heck?! The forecast was wrong... AGAIN?!"

Oh Amy, I feel you, I really do.

We ran to the nearest shelter and when we were fully drenched it suddenly stopped.

"That's it. The world hates me."

Amy sighed. "You're over-exaggerating! I don't hate you!" She joked. "Thanks for that but I really just wish that I could go run away and never come back."

"I know, I don't even want to be here."

"Same."

Then we waited as the rain slowly began to stop.
