"You know that I'm your friend? You can tell me anything."
I tilt my head slightly and give her the blankest stare I can manage and my brain flies through all the different excuses I could use.
If I tell her the truth she'll call the police and he hasn't hurt us yet so nothing will happen.
Then he'll really be pissed.
I shrug, " I just wanted to go for a walk and think, I had no reason to go home so I didn't want to. I should get going now though."
My curfew is at 6 and I don't know how long I've been here, if I'm late he'll be angry.
"Thank you for the hot chocolate, I'll see you around."
I leave before she can stop me.
She said that she's my friend.
I've never had one of those before.
