For anyone who doesn't know, on Monday BOTDF announced that Jayy has now left the band. This tour is going to still go on but only with Dahvie, Jayy will not be attending. I found this out yesterday. And honestly, I cried. A lot. They're my favorite band. I've been listening to them for almost five years.
To most of you, this is a very hard time for us in the SGTC, especially since I honestly don't know if this means BOTDF is over. It's not likely that Dahvie will find someone to replace Jayy, and they're both working on their own solo projects. I feel nothing but respect for both Jayy and Dahvie. They've taught me many lessons over the years and I was honored to be one of less than 100 people that went to the very last show with both of them there.
To honor these 10 years of blood, I'm going to be trying to start updating my stories again. We as the SGTC have to be here for each other and make each other as happy as this band makes us. Rise, SGTC!
