Ch 1: Woods

Dahvie's POV,

"I'M DONE!" I yell at her.

I grabbed my phone and left.

"Where do you think you're going?!" she yells by the door.

"Anywhere but here!" I say storming down the road.

"Ha! You'll be crying home by nightfall! Your father is gonna beat your ass when he gets home!!!" She laughs.

"FUCK YOU!" I shout and flip her off.

I heard the front door slam shut but I didn't look back. I'm so fucking done with all of this! She always pulls this shit and then acts like it's my fault!

I got out my phone and called Sally without slowing my pace.

"Hey Dahvs."

"Hey Sal, my moms being a total bitch again. Can I stay at your place for awhile?"

"I know what you mean. Stay as long as you like." I could hear her smiling.

"Thank you! i'll be there in a hour or so."

"Do you need a ride?"

"Nah, I gotta do something on the way."

"Mm okay. See you soon!"

"See ya." I chirped and hung up.

I stopped walking when I saw the beginning of the woods. I loved the woods. They were always by my house growing up. They gave me a place to escape; To be alone. I sighed and walked in. I've been here so many times that by now I knew where I was going. I walked past all the beautiful trees, taking my time to enjoy the surroundings. I stopped and closed my eyes, taking in a big breath of air. I opened my eyes again and noticed it was almost dark. Oh well, i'll just keep walking until I get to the road. I can ask Sally to pick me up there. But for now, I just wanted to enjoy myself.

I walked for another half hour or so. Man, it's really dark now. I squinted my eyes to look around. I still hadn't reached the road. Did I miss it? I tried to stay calm. I wrapped my tail around my waist for comfort. Oh yeah, guess I forgot to mention I'm a neko.

I got my phone out and sighed; Dead. Fuck. I put it back in my pocket and kept walking. I can't tell if these trees look familiar or not, I've never been in the woods at night.

I kept going when out of nowhere I heard rustling. I froze.

'Relax Dahvie. It's just an animal. You've been in here a million times and you came back fine.' I thought to myself.

Yeah. It's probably just a rabbit or something.

I cautiously kept walking ahead. I heard another rustle, this time closer. I walked faster. I heard more that sounded like it was right behind me. I quickly turned around and saw a figure about 20 feet away. It was very thin and tall.

"H-hello?" I asked.

"Are you okay?" They asked worriedly.

"W-who are you?"

"Oh, hold on." They moved a bit like they were looking for something.

A flashlight came on which caught my off guard. My eyes quickly focused and the figure was now a man. He seemed just a few years older than me. He was tall and skinny, and had on a black v neck and one side of his head was shaved.
