you were my ocean //v.d.

i miss the warmth your arms gave me,

it is seemingly similar to the warmth generated by this burning acid in my red cup.

your heart, it is cold in result of complete disposal of my own.

for somehow you've managed to feel colder than the piece of ice i unwittingly swallowed

too intoxicated to notice it was melting down my throat

drowning me serenely

the way you said my eyes made you feel when you looked into them.

we wanted to save each other

because we cannot save ourselves

yet you were my ocean

pulling me into you

your waves holding me under

crashing into my delicate flash,

tearing it apart with every gasp of air i took.

your breath like chloroform choking me more and more as i struggled to breathe
