To where I grew up
Take me back to the start,
Take me back to the place
That has hid me from dark,
Which awaits the adults
Making them constant fight.
Let me feel that again:
Silent nights' calming sighs,
Sparkling stars above us,
Sincere laughs, shining eyes,
Warm embrace in hard times.
One step home, native yard;
Apple tree, mellow one,
I remember the sound
Mixed with giggles of child;
I remember the smell
Captured once and called "nice".
Now those things I just miss,
Things that craved in my head ,
They'll be there for ever,
Keeping taking me back,
To my heart, to my home,
To my start, to my a l l.***
