Halloween , I love Halloween its best time of the year after Christmas an my birthday. Me an candy where sliding on our costumes with our wigs(at the top) an i looked at mine ,an into my eyes from the mirror. candy looked at me from my bed , concern and her happy giddy self didn't really match. i took notice of this.
"Hey you okay ?" , She asked as she put her arm around my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine",i say brushing it off an i head to get our shoe's trying to escape from her interagation. key word TRIED. she leaned on my closets door frame. smiling ear to ear i knew what she was going to say she always does this when my brothers are around.
"So how's your brothers?", let me go ahead an tell you candy ,yeah my best friend has a huge crush on my half twin brother . i know what your think half twin? Yeah same mom look alike BUT here's the twist different dads.
"Yeah they're okay ?" ,i said to drop the confersation cause it was touchy subject.
Candy was about to say something but Kacy walked in ready to start the party . he was carring bags of food alcohol and other things we 'children' couldn't get. i internally smiled, he was always the life of a party. i tried to smile but it faltered as i saw the long line behind him.
"Hey Kacy !" I heard as my older brother let people into the house. my only thought was if mom could look at us now she would kill us.
An then i remembered why she wouldnt care ....she had a secret life an so did dad so we found our family in us well we did. as long as us three were together we would be fine. we look out for each other, or that was a promise that feel on deaf ears.
Our life was always like this, mom would leave us alone when we were old enough to walk. Dad he would cheek to see if we killed each other yet of course, but only if he heard a loud bump and nothing after in the house.
we walked down the stairs and grabbed the drinks gaining a smile from kacy and a questioning look on my costume.
" well well well look at little miss hope huh?!" Kacy said opening a beer for me.
"well? if you don't stop staring I'm not gonna get a boyfriend." i joked , in my eyes the only man good enough for me was Kacy.
and with that the party stared knowing that nothing good would come after we all cheered.
