chapter two : after thought

Its the last day of school an let me tell you i wont miss it, even if I had a hangover from the party. I was walking with candy an Jake when i was slammed into a locker . the first thing that ran threw my mind was 'oh look the hound got her boyfriend to throw me around  ' i tried to not laugh an held my breath.

I very calmly looked at him ,"how may i help your sorry ass today?"

He slammed agian an i laughed at him kacy would always come to my resuce but since he graduated and is in college he couldnt save me forever. I got slammed punched an kicked not even conor cared he sometimes joined in. Me an conor stopped talking when he almost drowned me when we were little. It only added salt to the wound since last night

*flash back*
Conor slammed the front door an i came around the corner only to be slammed into the wall an hit with the door .
"Conor whyy?!?!" ,i screamed our parents are hardly home so it was just the three of us an kacy came down an grabbed conor up by his collar an sent him against the wall. Conor sent a punch in his direction as he tried to help me up.

after he landed his punch Kacy stood over me watching me cower. the only thing I could think about was 'why? why would he do this?' when he finally stopped Kacy stiffened as Conor talked.

"Oh isnt that sweet well shes not even your sister an yet you treat her with so much respect an love bullsh*t grow a pair an be a man !!",conor spit out with venom on his tounge leaking out of every word.

Kacy drew back an sent him across the room I ran up to his room an to lock the door . I few hours laster after I heard things break and cras and some slurred cuss words ,i heard him coming to the door. He softly called to me threw the door.

"scarlet ....babygirl are you okay ?",he spoke as calmly as he could as i cracked the door to get a look at him ...
"....what....ha -happened to you kacy?!?",i almost screamed out but chocked on a sob

He shook his head an pulled me into his torn shirt as i cryed an he said the words i since then till now dread .

"scar, im leaving ."it was more like a declaration to me .

"Kacy why ?where are you going ?"i shot question after question.

" ...i....i dont know somewhere ," the tension in the air hung heavily.

He packed up a few shirts an pants an said " ill be back you wont notice im gone .."

boy did he lie i missed him more than ever that night ....

The night he left the night i dreaded forever i slept in his room.

I was awoken from my thoughts as a slammed a locker door. here we are with the few chromosomes left in this guys head and me pinned to the lockers.

as I waited for him to do something I saw candy's terrified expression. candy was my friend since elementary school, I couldn't lose her to. that thought alone made me reel in my fist and to think in my head.

"look dude we don't want anyone getting involved right?" his grip tightened on my clothes.

"so?!" he said his breath smelling like old socks and cigarettes lingering.

" dude cameras?" I made a gesture to the camera in the corner zooming in on us.

" ill do your homework for a week? and you don't get in trouble  with the rents?" I offered him a good deal if he was smart enough to take it well see.

he loosened his grip on me and I saw him thinking about it. "ill do you better ill give the answers to the test man? all you got to do is let us girls go?" he smirked and gently put on the ground and dusted off my shoulder.

the bell for second period sounded in the halls. candy waited for me and then after I was sent on my way I sighed pulling on my shirt. I glanced at candy and saw her pale complexion.

"not to worry can! I made thing better don't worry!" I say wrapping my arm around her shoulder.

she smiled at me softly while we walked into second period.

' yes my sleep class I internally yelled in excitement ' candy on other hand....I think I saw her soul disappear.
