Chapter Ten: Mistakes were made okay?

as the day drug on I took a turn down some old dirt road. this looks like a good place to stop, I pulled out my phone.

' 34 missed calls press one to listen'

"hey boss we are all worried about you man. just know we are all here for you. see ya at home."

"awe, carlos."

" hey scar its me, the guys are al worried about you and im also starting to worry a bit. call me."

"still a worry wort." I said shaking my head.

"....."beeep!"

"huh."i paused. not a word was said as I played it back." weird."

I shook my head and walked over to a bench. I guess a lot of people run out here.

I sat on the bench and laid on it watching the sun, slowly creep behind the mountain's as if waving good bye.

"..."I sigh heavily as I swing my legs around the bench. I jumped as the side of my pants went off.

"probably the guys." I mumbled to myself.

UNKOWN NUMBER

Stalker: hope, please listen to me.

me: tha fuck? Who are you?!?

stalker: hope im not here to hurt you.

me: how do you know my name!?

Stalker: look just let me explain.

Me: NO! Don't contact me every again who ever you are!

Stalker: please let me explain to you something?

me: .... how can I trust someone i don't know.

and with that last message I shoved my phone into my pants and rushed over to my bike I pulled my helmet on in a rush. I glanced around as I kick started my bike. almost freaking out inside my head I weave in and out of traffic, causing a few colorful words to fly my way.

I finally made my way back to the house and burst through my door causing candy and Jace to stop sucking each others faces. 'ew' was all I could as I went searching for the boys.i cant find them anywhere tha hell?

I make my way back to the living room with Jace and candy as bright red as a red hot.

"where are the guys?" I asked as I started to take off my jacket and setting down my helmet.

they looked at each other and back at me." they aren't with you?" they asked as I shook my head no.

a couple of chuckles can be heard from the door outside. "found them." I said heading outside with candy and Jace in tow. "whats wrong with here?" jace asked earning a shrug from candy.

"Duke I need a favor." I said wiping out my phone.

"sup boss anything for you."he said taking the bags out of the car.

"I want to know what the number goes to."i said as straight faced as ever. he looked down at the number with a clenched jaw.

"duke I need this."i said as I pulled his chin up to look at me.

"alright boss. "he said heaving a giant sigh as he walks past them. catching a huge atmosphere as he walks past her.

"Duke.."he keeps walking making me chase after him."Duke."i wait as I he keeps looking at the wall away from me. " FINE ! My office now!" I said making my way up the stairs.

Unkown POV

"damn!" I hit the steering wheel. " Way to go slick." i start pulling at my hair. " damn it."

my phone buzzes thinking its her I glanced down at it. incoming call

DUKE

"SHIT!" I hang my head on he steering wheel and answer.

"YOU SAID YOU WOULDNT CONTACT HER UNLESS IT WAS IMPORTEANT!!!!!"

I sit quietly leaning against the window now.

"DAMN IT KACY! YOU KNOW HOW BADLY THIS IS GONNA FUCK HER UP?!!??!?"

I sigh heavily as he pauses. "this is fucking me up man I cant do this much more."

he says nothing and I hear the scrambling on his side.

"hello?" I was getting more stressed.

"Duke?" I heard sniffling on the other side and I had to hold my breath.

"hello?" I asked softer this time the shuffling stopped as the crys of pain and howling of sorrow came through the speaker.

"...."after awhile the crying stopped and it was quiet, And duke came back to the phone after I hear the closing of a door.

"sorry she cant sleep without one of your shirts." I hung my head low. was she?...no she wasn't I love with me. " its fine." I said wiping my eyes as leaned my head back on the head rest.

"D-Duke.....does she?" I leaned my head forward again. If he says no then ill drop everything and disappear.

"does she what?" he asked jaw clenched tightly. I thought about not asking but I needed to know.

"does she do this every night?" I ask as I sniffle a bit.

"Kacy she has done this every night. every time she closes her eyes." he sighs heavily.

"....I cant...I have to see her."i say as I put the phone down an buckle up throwing the car in revers and backing up.

"what?!! are you fucking crazy?!?"I pulled the phone up to my mouth.

"im coming to see my Sister!" and I hung up the phone.' no matter what im gonna be there for my sister.'

Duke POV:

"damn him..." I open the door and peek in the room she's curled up into a ball around his shirt.

"....your whipped.." I turned around stunned, only to be caught by Jace.

'damn fool she's like my little sister' " what makes you say that?" I quietly closed the door.

"well either you love her deeply and don't want to loss her or..." he trails off and I shake my head.

"my life is more complicated then that." I say walking to the front door. "wanna smoke?" I ask as I grab my lighter.

"sure might as well... just don't tell candy." we both chuckle at his comment opening the door and sitting out in the stairs.

ill deal with Kacy when he gets here......Hopefully everyone will be at school
