Sheriff Hudson was currently interviewing Noah and Audrey while Nancy and the others where in class, Jake sat next to Nancy in this lesson and as you could tell she internally loved it, but to Jake and the rest of the world she hated it, as much as she hated the fact she was being questioned next
"I have many interests"
Noah was blunt with the officer, not only did Noah not want to be seen as suspicious he also didn't want to be seen as the creep obsessed with serial killers when one is now on the lose, Audrey was antsy
"What's this all about?"
The sheriff could easily tell something was off about Audrey, maybe she knew who the killer was? Maybe she knew who the killer was after? Maybe she was the killer? All the theory's in the sheriffs head still wouldn't be answered, he settled his hypothesis down while he conjured more evidence against the killer
"Just want to ask you a few question, do you mind?"
Audrey sat calmly, Noah have her a reassuring look as the duo looked back at the sheriff
"Not at all sir"
--- Nancy had seen Noah and Audrey being questioned by the sheriff and decided, despite never conversing before, to see if the dynamic duo were alright
"Hey what did the sheriff want?"
Both Audrey and Noah were shocked, not only was the Nancy Belmont talking to them but she didn't seem to have her usual squad members with her, she was a lone wolf and genuinely seemed concerned for them
"Well I'm guessing he's not convinced Tyler killed Nina, He's gonna question everybody, I'm sure he figured why not start with the genius IQ outcast with the serial killer fetish"
Nancy was sure as hell shocked, if he was going to question everyone he would have to ask Nancy about the prayer vigil, Audrey and Noah hadn't heard the buzz yet as the left after Noah had been misplaced on a raft out on the Lake but Lakewood's home grown bully Jake Fitzgerald,
"They don't think you done it do they?"
Noah shrugged at Nancy's reply, he looked at Audrey sincerely he shrugged at Nancy and put his arms around her
