My school day is broken down into seven periods, we have one through four before lunch and four through seven after lunch. The rest of my morning was uneventful and it was now time for the first half of fourth period. Before heading to class I decided to stop by my locker to drop off some of my text books from the morning classes. Walking to my locker I spot the guy from my first period, slowing my walk down I take a moment to glance over him.
He's tall, that my first impression. I failed to notice his height when I was with him in first period but now that he's leaning against his locker I can't miss it. His hair is light brown, and wavy it looks so soft. He runs his hand through his hair pushing it back away from his forehead. His eyes are hazel favoring more green then brown.
Its then that I realize I've been caught staring. Quickly looking away blushing I continue my walk down the hall at a brisk pace. I can't believe I was just standing there gawking at him.
Ugh I'm just glad Elizabeth wasn't with me otherwise I would never live it down. I finally reach my class American history and take a sit in the back corner. I'm a few minutes early so I place my head down and wait for class to start as the rest of the students start pouring into the classroom.
The final bell rings, I lift my head, I almost fell asleep I must have gotten here earlier then I thought even with my oolging of the new boy. To be honest I'm surprised that I haven't heard any gossip about him or Stephanie for that matter. I guess it's not that surprising it in the beginning of the school year a new face or two is definitely not the end of the world. As I look around I notice that I have a tinge of grey in my vision. I should be fine as long as nothing causes me to have a burst of emotion. Being that I am in history class I don't that'll happen.
Just then the door opens and in walks the mystery guy, with the grey still in my vision I notice a shimmer around him. I immediately drop my eyes, this is not good. One of them has never come to the school before let alone be a student, or pretend to be a student I should say.
My heart starts to beat faster as I notice out the corner of my eye that he's coming towards me, I'm surprised for a moment that no one comments on his late arrival. If it had been myself everyone would have noticed and the teacher would have chastised me.
He continues his walk to the empty seat to my left one seat behind the one directly next to mine. Great this is just what I need, him so close to me I can smell his cologne. Which definitely smells delicious but this is so not the time for that. He's one of them! I have to make sure he doesn't figure out that I know that. Im getting too worked up and my eyes are starting to change I need to calm down. Taking more deep breaths I try to focus on the teacher who has finally started her lecture. Luckily she has dimmed the lights so my eyes won't be too noticeable.
