Then next day after school, I was picked up during the school day. Xenia was in the car talking to the doctor I'm guessing. I looked out the window to see trees and falling leaves. Like a movie, I looked over to Xenia who smelt like the rosemary snow from earlier. She watched me with a small smile then shaking her head looking at the driver, and started talking to him. She looked out the window to see some kids running in their wolf form, when they caught the car eyes they changed calling out her name. She tensed her hand, almost banging her thigh. She soon relaxed, "Damn it." She whispered looking at me, "What?" She just smiled.

I was a pretty shock, "Are you mad at them?"

She laughed, "No more at myself."

I nod my looking at her as she stared at the front seat, "So-"

"Yo, can I crawl there and sit with you? I don't like the back seat." She interrupted me to ask the driver that. The driver laughed and just nodded, the next thing I knew the girl was crawling to the front seat, some groaning and frustration, but she made it then looking back at me with a smile. "So what's up." She said as she sat there like a smiling child.

"As I was saying, so what am I going to do exactly again?" I asked looking at the now empty seat next to me.

Xenia smiled, looking at the children and home mothers lining up to see their Alpha, some of the mother had their babies waving their hands for them. Some of the kids ran near the car waving. "You see all these people? You'll lead them to the office. You'll escort them out, and maybe just maybe if you have a heart, get to comfort them." She said as she rolled down her window, the driver slowed. She looked down telling the kids to be careful to not get too close to the car. I looked out the window to see wooden houses and deeper we got into the heart of the pack it was a like a small town like a camp. I saw a church, and some shops. It's amazing almost like a town.

"I never suspect you having a church," I said looking at the nice cleaned white walls with the cross up top.

Xenia laughed as well the driver chuckle, "There are people who believe in God and all. This isn't an Atheist pack." She said. I looked around to see the people smile, a small town and it's full of people. "Some here aren't even wolves, but their wives or husbands are. I guarantee safety for them from the human world."She said as she looked at me with a smile.

We turned on a street, and more woods came by and dirt road. I was curious. Then a house, a wooden log house, she smiled. The driver pulled up on the drive way, as I exited the car the driver was opening up for Xenia. She thanked him, he nods his head with a smile. He went back to the car and drove off. I was too busy looking at the large logged house. Xenia just smiled up at me having her hands behind her back. "Wow." That's all I said as I looked at her, she caught her breath and nod.

"Pretty ain't it. For us faggots, we are pretty cliche huh?" She said as I flinched at the words.

"I am sorry," I said.

She waved me off as she walked to the door that had a beautiful design for the knocking. As she pulled out her keys to open the door I stopped her. She looked at my hand where I was grabbing her arm, "Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Can I take the tour?" I asked looking up at her.

"Nah, Imma torture you so bad that you'll hate it here." She sternly said, looking straight in my eyes. I backed away, then she burst out laughing. "Really? You must be conservative your whole life! You can't even take a joke. How sad. I must teach you to relax."

I nod my head as I looked at her, as she enters the house. I smelled rosemary with the forest smell. Like winter. I noticed as I got into the house it was cold. Like really cold and it's October should it be like at least warm? I wrapped my arm around myself as she tossed her jacket on the couch that was a flower design and had a quilt over it. There was a fireplace that wasn't lit. The chairs were neatly placed on a rug. I looked over to see the stairs near the door and the kitchen table was just a few feet away from the living room. As I enter the living room the kitchen was slightly larger than my moms. She looked at me then tilt her head, "Why is it so cold?" I mumbled through my chattering teeth.
