This is gonna be the last and final chapter! Unless you want to see more. If you do, then please feel comfortable letting me know! I can do a after the attack thing, if you want. Me out!

Sill was splayed out in a small patch of sunshine, a rare thing indeed. It was almost the cold season, and a small chill had tightened the small breezes since the human pup had almost crossed the border. They hadn't had anymore trouble with him, although he had neared a little more often, and let out more sharp cries, It, however, never attempted to venture into the woods. A small gust of wind swept through the air, ruffling Sill's thick coat of fur. He sniffed the air. He scented a strange odour, reminding him of humans.

He bristled. It smelled reasonably strong. Sill wasn't surprised when other wolves around the clearing raised their heads in confusion. Could it be that human pup? Sill wondered. Hazel stuck her head out of the nursery entrance, glancing around. Her eyes met Sill's and she stepped out to join him. He licked her cheek as she plopped onto the ground, rolling on her side.

"What's that smell?" She questioned. Sill could tell she wasn't really worried. A human pup was nothing close to danger compared to a wolf pack. Sill himself wasn't worried at all.

" I don't know." He responded hastily. He scented the air once more. Suddenly, the bramble entrance burst open, several wolves rushing through. One of them halted at the entrance. He glanced at Sill, one of the finest warriors.

" A human pup has gone into the forest." He panted, quickly informing him. Sill raised his lean body off the ground, staring at his fellow wolf.

" I can see to it. Make sure  it's in check." Sill suggested as his pups scampered over to their mother. Ash, the wolf Sill was conversing with, nodded curtly. He was one of the top warriors, and next in line for leader. Sill returned the nod, and dashed off into the forest. He could hear Ash's howl through the thick wall of trees.

" Leaf, Bark, Fang! Follow Sill. He might need backup." Ash called.

Sill raced through the dense undergrowth, heading towards the border. He could hear paws pounding the soft ground behind him. Barks sounded as he slowed to a quick halt. The rest of the patrol swiftly caught up with him. He glanced around. No sign of the human here.

He let out a sharp howl as he raced of towards the other side of the border. Suddenly, a familiar scent touched him. He took a deep inhale. Human stench, it was. He was sure of it. He darted off, keeping a close eye on the border.

Almost at once, he spotted a lumbering shape bounding through the forest. He signalled the rest of the patrol to stop. He began a low growl as he prowled forward. The human stomped about, crashing through the undergrowth. Sill lowered himself to a low crouch, a deep throated rumble escaping his jaws. He snuck closer.

The human finally notices him. It glanced around, panicking. Suddenly, it let out a pricing cry. Sill winced. The human pup then swung his arms threateningly, stomping towards where Sill hid. Sill drew his lips in a nasty snarl. The human reached his waving arms towards Sill, obviously trying to scare him off.

Then, Sill pounced.
