5. No-So-Teammates

2 Months Later
Logan's POV
Corey and I just hit our 2 month anniversary and I could be happier. He's the best boyfriend ever; He brings me flowers a lot, he makes me smile everytime we talk, he's just amazing. He recently told the press about our relationship and everyone has been very supportive. The team calls us Puppy Lovers becuase we're the youngest couple. 
Also since we've met, Corey has been getting between 3 and 5 homeruns per game. The Dodgers are on a 17 game winning streak and Corey says I'm his lucky charm. Just another way he makes me feel special.
I've noticed something a little off about Mia, though. She tends to be out at night a lot after games with Yazmani. She says they're just friends, but I sense something more is happening. She won't budge, but hopefully she fills me in soon. After all, I am her best friend.

I was getting ready for another game, all dressed up in my Corey Seager jersery, jean shorts, blue Vans with little LA signs all over them, and a Brooklyn snapback.
"Mia, let's go! We gotta get there before batting practice!" I yelled.
No response.
"Mia!!" I yelled again.
Nothing.
"MIA RACHEL PEDERSON!!" I yelled louder.
"I'm coming! Damn!" She yelled.
She came down the stairs and looked like she had been crying.
"Dude, you okay?" I said.
"No. Yes. Whatever, let's just go." She said, grabbing her purse.
"Uh uh Pederson. What's going on?" I said, grabbing her arm and pulling her back.
She was teary eyed.
"I'll tell you later. Just...Don't be mad at me? Okay?" She said.
She pulled away and walked to the car.
Ugh! What's wrong with her?!
I got in the car and we drove in silence. We parked and went into the stadium to the locker room. All the guys were ready, just waiting for batting practice.
"Hey baby girl." Corey said, kissing me with a smile.
"Hey babe." I giggled.
"Joc, I need to talk to you. Like now." Mia said nervously.
"Hold o-"
"I said now, damn it!" She yelled.
Everyone jumped a little at her sudden change of volume.
"Okay, okay. Chill." He said.
They walked out into the hall and closed the door.
"What's up with her?" Chase asked.
"I honestly have no clue whatsoever. She's been weird for the past 2 months." I shrugged.
All of a sudden, Joc burst through the door, filled with rage.
"YAZ! I'M GONNA FUCKIN KILL YOU!!!!" He screamed, running at Yaz.
Before anyone could react, Joc tackled him to the ground, punching him repeatedly. Mia came running in, sobbing.
"Hey!! Pederson!! Quit it, man!!" Adrian yelled, trying to pull Joc off.
Corey, Clayton, and Justin got in there, trying to break them up. I was in complete and utter shock.
They kept fighting until Adrian finally yanked Joc off and pinned his arma behind his back.
"You asshole!! You knocked up my baby sister!!!" Joc screamed, trying to break free.
Everyone gasped and looked at Mia, who was sobbing into her hands.
"You what??" I said, glaring at Yaz.
Everyone stared at him, Yaz looking down at the ground, a small tear running down his cheek.
"What on earth is going on in here??" Dave said, running into the room.
"Mia..." I said, looking back at her.
"Well, now that Joc got that out of his system, I guess we gotta come clean." She said, lookin straight at Yaz.
He looked up amd nodded, walking over to her.
"We've...We've been dating...For the past 4 months..We didn't tell anyone because we knew Joc would blow a fuse." She said.
"Yeah! No shit!" Joc yelled, Adrian pulling him back again.
"I'm also 2 months pregnant." She said.
"Yazmani? You have anything to say?" Dave asked, arms crossed over his chest.
"I...I'm not sorry for dating her or getting her pregnant. She's the best thing to happen to me since I made this team. But I am sorry for going against Joc and lying to everyone. I didn't mean to hurt anyone, but there's no way I'm leaving her. I'm always going to support her and our baby." He said.
We all looked at Joc. His fists were still clenched, but his face softened.
"Dude...I'm sorry I blew up one you. I just didn't want my baby sister getting hurt. My parents always told me to protect her, I guess I just have a hard time letting go. I support you guys 100% and I can't wait to be an uncle." He said.
We all smiled and agreed.
"Alright, now that that's settled, let's go take down these Padres." Dave said.
Everyone got excited, grabbed their stuff and started filtering out of the room, saying Congrats to Mia as they left. I kissed Corey good bye and they went onto the field.
"So...You're gonna have a baby?" I said with a smile.
She smiled back and nodded, making me squeal in excitement. We hugged and started talking about her due date, baby names, Godparents, etc.
Aww...My bestie's gonna be a Mommy...
