The world is an odd place
A living, breathing contradiction.
Someone once told me
That good people make bad choices.
And bad people can make good ones.
Someone once told me
That no one is completely
Good or bad.
Like yin and yang
There is bad and good
And everyone is a bit tainted
By those they touch.
Someone once told me
That bad actions outweigh good intentions.
And bad intentions
In disguise as good actions
Are malicious in nature.
And someone once told me
The world can be as good
Or as bad
As the people
Living and breathing in it.
Someone, wise beyond their age,
Once told me
There's bad and good in the world
And the one I feed into
Will conquer my soul.
